Diabetics is a chemical imbalance in the kidneys
No offense shug, I am sure this was a blooper... Diabetes is a misfunction of the pancreas. There are two main types, diabetes I and Diabetes II, as well as gestational diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease. An autoimmune disease results when the body’s system for fighting infection (the immune system) turns against a part of the body. In diabetes, the immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. The pancreas then produces little or no insulin. A person who has type 1 diabetes must take insulin daily to live.
Type 2 diabetes is diagnosed, the pancreas is usually producing enough insulin, but for unknown reasons the body cannot use the insulin effectively, a condition called insulin resistance. After several years, insulin production decreases. The result is the same as for type 1 diabetes—glucose builds up in the blood and the body cannot make efficient use of its main source of fuel.

I understand what you are trying to say, which is bi polar, and schizophrenia are brain disorders that a person doesn't chose, but rather gets from a variety of reasons. Things that make these issues worse can also be ADHD/ADD (which is considered a brain function issue) or personality disorders, which are more environmentally caused, and have part to do with the way person was raised, and how they handled things... At least that is what the current studies suggest.
