1. Simple fact is, if she's gonna say it's cheating, then maybe it feels like it's cheating to her. But honestly, there's a real obligation there. If his sexuality is so important to her, she's got to make it so that he has an easy time not cheating. I.e. 'here, let me get that for you...'
2. Telling him it's cheating and then not meeting his needs is just unkind, unfair, judgemental and puritanical. My advice to the guy is to leave, and fast. Not because she's decided that masturbation is cheating, (because believe it or not, a case could be made) but because she's not willing to recognize the fact that he's a sexual being and that people in relationships are supposed to want sex. In all seriousness though I don't see how masturbation could be considered cheating. I would find it odd if I met someone who claimed they never masturbated to be quite honest. It's a perfectly healthy endeavour and great way to relieve stress I find. Shit, there were times when I was in a relationship and getting sex three times a day and I still had the urge from time to time.

And lets face it, your not thinking about your partner 24/7 when you masturbate or when you have sex with that individual.
