Why does riding a 125cc put you off gladitsummer?
Some will do 110 mph you know!
If you want to ride a 125cc you will need to do a CBT else you'll be stuck with a 50cc if you passed your car test at the right time. Even they aren't so slow now either.

I just try and keep away from the cars, but then with a 750 I can!lol

Sends a get well soon card to MissSelf's Poorly ~( lucky)~ Bike

oh and Oggers one too lol :P

And with regards to your post Gladitssummer ( is it summer then ) About car drivers ...

Riding a bike will make you bit of a mind reader as 99% of the time your observations of what is going on around you you will work out what the car driver is going to do before they do it ....( or even know what they are going to do lol) ....

Do it do it do it go on go on go on go on go on ........ On yer bike son ......

Ooooohhh love me bikes .Another CBR 600 F rider here (plus my Enfield 500) . I cannot stand most bike clubs though .The local MCC is in a shit-hole dingy bit of crap called Sawston in Cambridgeshire .They call themselves Tiger MCC , which I think is the worst sounding bike club Ive ever heard of .They wear colours with a Tiger on the back and wear orange T-shirts with things like " it wasn't me" printed on them , Hilarious .What a bunch of w.....s they are . They call themselves the soggy moggies for some reason .I have never seen them out on a bike ride despite the fact I live about 5 miles from them , probably because of the copious amount of drugs they take .
However I am well up for bike rides with people that are true to themselves with a love of biking not drugs or wearing badges .Not being up your own jacksy is a must .

riding one doesnt put me off, they are powerful enough for any newcomer to biking...as I would be!

I never got a bike on the road as it just seemed to damn dangerous to me. Nowadays its seems even worse. It's bad enough driving a car, but at least I have all the protection of the bodywork in a crash.

When I was 13 I had an old knackered 50cc Honda stepthrough moped that I used to ride over the local woods. Then I traded that in for a knackered old Kawasaki KE100.

Both these bikes were great fun and as they were too knackered for road use they were always breaking down. I spend many fun hours getting them going again with bits from other knackered old bikes at the scrapyard.

Oh happy days

I'm not a biker, but through the goodness of my heart I've let a neighbour of mine store his Harley in my garage.

If you gals could see him in his leathers you'd soon be 'round here.

........But he's not bald/shaven headed with tattoos - so no go then? :-)

Well for fun only these days, I live in the south but I have been as far as scarborough for bike meets in the past but I think its a general meets august bank holiday and other long weeksends, there is also big organized meets in western supermere once a month but i havn't been to that one for 4 yrs it may have changed. but if you would like to find out about places bikers go in the south. leave me a message and i'll get the list together. good hunting. plus you don't have to be a biker to meet we us. we are all real friendly people with one mutual love. I'm a biker although I'm afraid to say I only ride if its nice weather. Like going out and feeling the sun on my back and enjoy riding my 1999 cbr 600 fx, great fun.

Hi all. I got a pair of Triumph Speed Triples - tho strictly speakin the one i'm currently ridin is a stripped down Daytona. Did 1,500 mile tour of Ireland on it in May, takin in the North, West & South coasts.

Bin to Rivington Barn & Devil's Bridge in the last month. Closer to my home there are bike nights on Tuesday at the Ox/Sixhills on the A46 towards Leicester, Wednesday at MFN (Middle of Fu**in Nowhere!) at Shipley/Eastwood nr Nottingham & Thursday at the Victoria in Coalville.

I'll be at the Rock'n'Blues, Bulldog Bash & probably Stormin the Castle this year.
