You have to realize exodusi can not reply to anything unless he talks about the Iraq war in his replies. I want to know what he thinks about the Clinton bombing of Bosnia or the cruise missile attack on Sudan that he launced during his Presidency because he thought Bin Laden was in a house that was there. The cruise missile did take out the house and the rest of the neighborhood and killed many people in that neighborhood but why did Clinton launch it? because he assumed that Bin Laden was there. Exodusi is what you call a neo-liberal and only believes what the drive by media is telling him. I wonder if he saw the news today where the media has admitted to producing the wrong information on Iraq. The front page of the New York times has the apology right there from the media outlets that have been producing false information. Conditions in Iraq are actually alot better than the media was reporting. and guess what the New York Times is a liberal news paper

Hydrogen Fuel Cells are three times more efficient than current hybrids. The only byproduct of a Hydrogen Fuel Cell is water.
Okay, please explain to us why you can't go out and buy a hydrogen-fed fuel cell car.
Evil conspiracy on the part of the oil companies? Possible, but not likely.
It's more likely that not all of the technical challenges have been sufficiently met.
Efficient and clean production is one challenge. The most efficient production is from natural gas, and produces carbon monoxide as a by-product. Generation by electrolysis of water is clean, but uses a lot of energy.
Are there better was to produce hydrogen? They're being worked on, but they're not here yet.
Another challenge of hydrogen is storage. The hydrogen molecule is the smallest molecule known to man, which presents a challenge for sealing joints in pipes and hoses.
Storing enough hydrogen in gaseous form to be useful in a small space requires high pressures in the 5,000 - 10,000 PSI range. And don't forget, you have to use a considerable amount of energy to compress the hydrogen.
Storage of hydrogen in compounds called "metal hydrides" solves the pressure issue, but at a cost in size and weight. Solid hydride storage, one of the leading contenders for automotive use, requires a tank three times the size and four times the weight of a gasoline tank holding the same amount of energy.
Saying we don't have the technology is ignorant!
There is all kinds of technology out there. Claiming that it is ready for consumer use is ignorant at best, and perhaps just plain dishonest.

It was Afghanistan, not Somolia that Clinton tried to assasinate Osama bin Laden.
Bosnia is now at peace, mission accomplished actually means something, when it is actually accomplished!
Somalia was a hotbed of Al Queda activity. Ever seen Black Hawk Down?
Here's another correction, before you place your foot in your mouth. . . It was the Republicans that were Nazi appeasers during the 1930s. It was Preston Bush that made money supporting their war build up. It was a Democrat, perhaps the greatest, who fought to remove them from the world. Just a pre-emptive stike on the next illogical rant!
ps. no Iraq | |

I know.. I've heard about the Aspirin factory bombing.. and I remember a statement that Bush made about Clinton dropping bombs.. "When I take action I'm not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt." -President of the United States-GWB... lmao everytime I read that.
And I'm actually flabbergasted that the Media would actually finally admit to producing the wrong information on Iraq..I've more than suspected they weren't being objective when reporting. I think the media has for years misled us to believe that our troops were fighting against good Iraqi's.. when in fact alot of these militias in Iraq are supported by Al Qaeda and possibly Iran. And shame on the NYT for not reporting on the hard work the US Military and coalition forces have done over the years to rebuild Iraq: schools, clinics, housing..etc..
I wonder if the NYT and other liberal media outlets are preparing themselves for the possibility of a Democrat CIC .. maybe we'll finally start seeing the media report on the progress in Iraq.. Lord knows they won't do it while Bush is in office.

| It's been 756 days since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.... Posted: 5/22/2008 6:40:54 AM | There is no progress.
There was no Al Queda prior to our invasion!
600,000 innocent Iraqis and 4,000 of our nation's finest have died, because our idiot in chief invaded the wrong country. A pretty steep price to pay for electing such an idiot.
The media isn't reporting the progress, because there isn't enough to report.
This is the same ignorance that led Barbara Bush to think that the poor people in New Orleans were "Better off," in the superdome, because it must have been better than their homes!
This is why we need sweeping change in DC, getting rid of as many of those evil morons as possible! That is why I won't stand for letting the lies permiate here, without responding.

Oh, do it again and tell us how the media is liberal. I am so tired of posting who owns the media and how they are decidedly NOT LIBERAL! Yeah, the media was caught lying about Iraq! But definitely not by making it sound worse. Hey where are all the pictures of the dead little kids in that LIBERAL news paper? The media was caught using pentagon hired talking heads quoting pentagon approved talking points trying to sell this outrageous and insane war to the american people. As far as I am concerned, anyone who calls the media, any outlet of the MSM, liberal has lost all credibility! Do your research. They are taking you on a nice little ride.

The front page of the New York times has the apology right there from the media outlets that have been producing false information. Conditions in Iraq are actually alot better than the media was reporting. Cite? I mean, I tried looking for it myself, but what I found was this:
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/26/international/middleeast/26FTE_NOTE.html?ex=1400990400&en=94c17fcffad92ca9&ei=5007&partner=USERLAND
It's a way old apology about Iraq coverage-- for beating the war drum too loudly!
And this:
http://egan.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/05/21/the-invisible-war/index.html
But ignorance is bliss-- for those who aren't actually in Iraq. Woops... now back to gas talk.

There was no Al Queda prior to our invasion! Excuse me.. Al Qaeda had no business coming to Iraq other than killing innocent people.. The Americans and coalition forces overthrew Saddam and have been trying for 5 years to create a better Iraq for the Iraqi's.. something which the Terrorists-Al Qaeda have no interest in doing, they'd rather see Iraq be hostile and endless.. for instance.. do you see Al Qaeda rebuilding schools and clinics for the Iraqi's? I think I've made my point very clear.

I thought she was credible while making promises to the American people over 2 years ago but I realize now that it was just to get seats in Congress.. so she has developed no credibility whatsoevr and in fact is a disgrace to the position of "Speaker of the House".. flying around in her Jet paid for my us.. she has no idea what's it's like to pump her own gas and actually pay for it. She will go down as the worst Speaker of the House.. in my opinion.

Al Queda was NOT in Iraq when we invaded.
PERIOD!
Saddam would have KILLED Osama bin Laden, had he caught him in Iraq.
PERIOD!
You obviously just parrot out of date or inaccurate information.
Nothing I listed is top secret, it is all common knowledge.

Al Queda was NOT in Iraq when we invaded. He didn't need the help.
I thought she was credible while making promises to the American people Here is a suggestion, don't trust any of them. Least of all the democrats. What are the real reasons that they don't want us drilling for oil in our own country? Why wasn't Pres. Bush demanding from our own Congress to drill more oil, instead of going to other countries?

Ranger you know as well as I do that the Save the Planet Liberals would never allow drilling in the United States.. the anti-drillers would be out in full force throwing themselves in front of the drilling machines. God forbid we can't waste a few trees in order to drill our own oil. (sigh)

If the congress can just weather the storm of hypocritical right....and wait for a veto-less Democratic President to come in....then they will instantly become the do-everything congress. Unfortunatley demorats are going to have to spend the first half of their administration cleaning up Republican messes...all over the board....and to hope by then that China or England haven't taken over all of our financial institutions.

| It's been 756 days since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.... Posted: 5/25/2008 5:04:46 AM | | Why tap into our oil supply now? If we wait we stand to make tons of money later on the world. The Saudis basically told Bush jr. to screw off when he asked for a break in the prices. If we weren't so bogged down in Iraq we could address the destruction of the pipelines there and in Africa which contributes to instability. Bin Laden is quoted as saying it's a victory if oil prices go over 140 a barrel. We're at 135 people. This war has been fought wrong on all fronts. I believe the intentions are good but cowboy diplomacy is only good for getting American drones hype. We gotta live in this country together so we better figure it out together. Even though we have wars of ideas we have soooo much more in common than we have uncommon. I personally believe that we have the potential to be better than Greece or Rome as long as we don't self destruct from the inside. | |

I think the problem is that the Democrats have been shutting out the Republican minority on important legislative debates you might have heard the lates shinannigans that the Democrats have done recently changing bills and trying to add earmarks without the Republicans knowledge. If that is something you approve of then we'll never agree on that.

Bush does too, and you know it...If the a Bill is not exactly the way he wants it then he'll veto it.....He's not compromising or working with anyone ...why should they? You want Democrats to take the high road when Republicans who had control for six years never thought about taking it and still won't take it...they just wine to the press. Please let's not talk about earmarks...Okay...Tom DeLay, really used earmarks to expand Republican control not only of Congress but of Washington itself. He used earmarks to help Republicans gain control of their seats and make sure they would be reelected time and time again. He also used it on K Street, favoring lobbyists. Remember Jack Abramoff? quoted as calling Capitol Hill “the earmark favor factory.” This is where earmarks became synonomous with "the other white meat" pork. ...Oh...and let's not ever forget Senator Tom Coburn's "Bridge to nowhere"...The hypocracy!

duuuh, these are tactics used to stall bills. Bush does too, and you know it... Actually no, were discussing legislation in the Houe.. take a closer look at what the Democrats tried to do with the Farm Bill and the Amnesty clause. This is so much in contrast to what they promised 2 years ago. And if you got riled up over the Republican tactics then you would be equally riled up about what the Democrats are doing today. I'm seeing a double standard here where the Democrat get a free pass, we expect less from the Democrats and more from the Republicans.
