| I want to organize a POF event ... any tips/suggestions?

 Admin suggested new event wanna b's post here before putting up a thread for a POF event. Any suggestions/tips for organizing a POF festivity will be appreciated. What is the best info to include? What is the best way to spread the word?
 Monday, June 2nd, in LA , an amazing woman, Dr. Pat Allen, MFT, will been doing her show on Relationships that she has been doing for over thirty years. It is entertaining and enlightening. I do the warm-up for her and after is a mingle at the local Hamlet (no host restaurant/bar.) It's a great evening to laugh, learn the art of love and meet new people.
 June 2nd is less than two weeks away and I want to make it a special POF night. We'll have door prizes and some people will have the opportunity to work personally with Dr. Pat. There has not been too many POF events in LA and it's a great Monday night happening.
 What is the best way to go about this?

I got your thread on how to organize a POF party. First of all,i was actually thinking of organizing one for the POF members, and i had already spoken with the Management in the Hotel where i work, for members to lodge in, so since you are planning on doing something,i would love to know where and when, i can help you out, cos i think it's gonna be a great idea.
I was thinking you should extendthe date a lil bit, so as to be fully prepared for this party, cos i know alot of members would love to attend this party.
But first, you need to know where and where it's happening, and then make arrangements, for everything, and when you are sure about everything, and almost ready, then you let all full members know about it.
And just to let you know that am in support of it, i'll be looking forward to attending the POF party. | |
