Hey, my question is - If u started speaking to an ex, wud u considered trying again with them?

Ok well the story goes like this lol, I went out with a guy when i was like 15 but it never got serious n I dont even know why we split, i finished with him back then and we have started talking again thru pof. He is a nice guy n speaking to him has brought alot of good memories back n like i say i dont know why we split but i do know we stayed friends n there was never any bad feelings between us, we just lost contact.

Wot do u think, if given the chance can second time round work?

Never know until you try.
What does this question have to do with being a single parent?
I think it would be better suited to the relationship thread.

People can change a lot in 11 years and you were very young when you dated him before. As there was no huge deal involved in the break-up, it might be that the timing is right now and wasn't then. Doesn't sound like you would be taking a big risk to find out so I would see what happens. If nothing else, you know you are not good as a couple and can remain friends.

I don't think a relationship at 15 tells you much about what a person grows into.

I see no reason for concern based on the information you gave here.

Go for it. Single parenting is difficult, but as long as you are dating responsibly and ensuring proper care for your child at all times, you are suppose to enjoy life,. You get old a lot sooner than you realise and leaving behind missed opportunities can give you regrets down the road.
