This is great with BBQ asparagus spears( brush with garlic butter, and cook until lightly browned, and softened), and with deep fried biscuits | |

| bourbon street steak Posted: 5/21/2008 11:56:13 AM | OMGAWD!! This looks like what I have been looking for ..... reminds me of my father (deceased). When he came home from work (locomotive engineer - CNR in Canada), occasionally he and I would be the only ones at home. He was hungrey so I got to eat with him and he did LOVE his steak. I don't have a BBQ so would have to fry it. Maybe have to invest in a really good cast-iron frying pan now.
Thank you for offering to us this recipe and may the GOOD LORD be with you Sir.

| bourbon street steak Posted: 5/21/2008 12:35:58 PM | Thanks for sharing all these tasty ingredients >>> P.S....Just so you know , all the ingredients (except for the meat tenderizer) can be USED BUT quite simplified (with no pounding prep required and no need to sit in marinade 24) while the end result is just as tasty and with so much less effort and watch (-healthier while no need for meat tenderizer) >>>try the slow cooker, with your choice of mushrooms , garlic, & onions - if you like but not required - and let cook on low for the day -while at work, school, play, etc,,,,)just be sure the sauce from the marinade ingredients is just enough to cover the steak in the cooker Yum Yum yum ! once you return >>> then a quick prep for the veggies of choice , grilled veggies as You mentioned -are wonderful ! add a salad, and dinner is ready in less then 15 min. !!! | |
