It will not be a holiday weekend, however, I have created the event from the Friday to the Sunday so if you are able to use an RDO, a Day in leau or whatever and turn up for the Friday night, that would be cool, otherwise arrive on Sat morn and back home on Sunday.
If the majority are going on the Sat morn, perhaps a convoy can be arranged?
We will need to byo wood for a big fire (which will be needed esp as it is a winter camp).. However, as we will be on the coast a little further north, it shouldnt be too bad.

Campfees are $4.50 per night for adults, for family rates

Sounds good Gypsygal.........I'll be on the bike probably, so I'll have to keep the gear to a minimum.......How about some North siders signing up.......Come on be daring.

If you haven't already worked it out my tent is quiet large and at this point there's two or maybe three people in it . You are welcome to through you sleeping bag in if you don't want to cart a tent up, I promise I will make Bris keep her hand to herself.
Oh and the rent is cheap.

If I help put it up do I get a % of the rental return? Esp as I will have to leave home a few hours earlier to get it up so it doesnt cut into my camping trip too much 
Brizgemini we havnt yet decided what wooodchopper is gonna cook for mains, it definately is oysters kilpatrick for entree though  | |

Posted: 5/31/2008 7:03:07 PM | gypsygal , why dont we have a kids fishing contest , there will be 3 prizes , first a fishing rod and real combo and some soft lures , second rod and reel combo , thrid some soft lures . i will put up the prizes
when i was growing up there used to be "take a kid fishing" contests , the winner was always picked by who cought the most or biggest fish , but who showed the most deternation. one child that won was a little girt with a bait fish , she worded so hard to land it and the expression on her face was priceless.
or this to happen it would be nice if there could be a few people that would be glad to offer some time to be judges. a panel of 5 would be good. | |
