It's Friday.. it's spring, the patios are open..and it's time for the Toronto PoF to get together and have some fun! Join Jessical and Royal Lady for a swinging get together Friday June 6th!

What, you say?? Why be glum alone at home when you could be out with a whole bunch of singles mixing and mingling? Come on out and meet others in PoF (Plenty of Fish) and have some fun!! It's a rockin' good Friday with music specifically geared for a rockin' good night. We can rock n roll to live music with CODE GREEN and also the groovy sounds continue to spin with our very own hip cat DJ Phil  
The ETON will be providing us with hot/cold appetizers as well as other cool accommodations. Just keep tracking this thread.
COOL!! HOW DO I GET THERE?
By TTC, just take the subway to Pape Station and walk a very short walk east along Danforth to the pub on the next corner. It's behind the subway station. If you're driving, there's ample parking at the Green P in the back of the Eton, and free street parking after 9pm.
Driving from most points west, north, east, just take the DVP south to the Don Mills south exit to O'Connor, take a left to Pape and then right, down to Danforth. Turn left and park it!
The Eton House is a large spacious room at ground level, with a dance floor, pool room, large bar and accessible washrooms.
There is ATM inside!
All of our TGIF parties have been so much fun, that we gotta do this again...and again! This is our bi-weekly TGIF party for the Toronto PoF at the Eton House!! Got any more questions? so far only 5 women and 23 men... ooo I like those odds!!! Actually a couple of single ladies from my union will be attending this, so that would be 7 femmes.. :roll: That's 3.28 men apiece with a bit to spare. Hmmm....

Our band regularly sechuled for this event has bottomed out and we're busy looking into other groups to make this night memorable. I also have to check them as well, because 'tightness" and "quality" are a priority when it comes to a rockin' good time at our partay!
You have my apologies with our favourite band, but these things happen. I hope to find a good replacement.

Y'all better have your dancing shoes with you cuz it looks like we are in for a long night. No matter what band we get, Phil will still keep us hoppin'. I'm hoping to check out another band tomorrow night, so never a dull moment!
Alison, I hope you're coming out for sure. You missed all the cool stuff Howard brought last time. arrrr.

I sure hope everyone manages to come early enough so they can meet and greet. There's lots of fine fishies in this pond and you should come out and meet them, have a dance or two or a drink or two with them! 
Our DJ Phil will be set to start at 7:30 and so should you!

Remember, there is NO cover charge, EVER, and beer prices begin around $3.50 for domestic bottle (and go up to premium still friendly on your pocketbook!).

I noticed directions for east and west, etc., but what about us country mice from the north?
I have been making the trek to each of these parties and they are a great venture pour moi as it usually takes this lassie 1 1/2 hours to get there.
Back road directions any one? don't like the 400 series if possible. Yet living in the country doth not mean this Lady of the Realm won't get lost. I did last night after my venture to Butt Rhettlers in Mississauga ((on my way home of all things!! geeezzz)).
Please gentlemen, you see a lady to your liking, approach her. Believe me. After attending approximately 5 POF parties in the past year and speaking to the Ladies, they feel the same way. What have you got to loose at this stage of your lives, go for it and at lease you can say, I tried!!

I can try to find a google map for you, but if you can find your way to the DVP (hopefully it's open) and take that to Don Mills south exit ramp. that will take you to O'connor, turn to Pape (I'm not sure but that could be a little on your right) and head down to the Danforth. there is all kinds of parking there. there is a big parking lot right behind the Eton House.. It's also behind the subway station... when you see the subway at Pape and Danforth the Eton is on the left.
I have to get ready for work, but maybe someone can get you a google map.

Hi Alison, I was checking out a band last week and I'm not sure if they will be able to make it this week. I should find out tonight or tomorrow. I'll try to keep you posted. We have Phil playing some great stuff, he's one of the best DJ's in the city, so we are in good hands music wise... having a band is boone!!
The weather should be perfect for the patio and strolling around Greek Towne, so be there or be square!!!
Fly 35 guy, the ladies will be there,. some are too shy to hit the button, others clled me and said they're coming. I got galpals coming too. so the rest is up to the fates.
