Posted: 5/24/2008 10:01:45 AM | That's an interesting question. I think it'll be different for everyone. For some it may be the security (in different forms), for others it could just be as simple as the pitter patter of their heart.
For me, I think it's more the connection. Be it intellectual/ emotional or just emotional. It's that feeling that you have a connection with her followed by the curiosity of wanting to delve a bit deeper and see where it lead. | |

his smile when i walk into a room. the "mmmmm" when we hug because he can smell my perfume. the smell of his cologne on the pillow.

Feeling that everything is just right, very difficult to explain but everything is ok. Contentment.
Letting go of inhabitions (without the need for alcohol! lol) and knowing it's ok.
Falling asleep with your head on their lap....Them falling asleep with their head on your lap.
Your best friend.
Feeling like your heart is going to burst out of your chest when you see them.
Feeling special.

The ability to just be, when in their company.
That is extremely important. That level of comfort you have when you can "just be" around each other, relaxing in each other's presence. You know it when you feel completely at ease with silence. You can gaze at each other and not feel the need to fill that moment with words. | |

Any one can get one thing to connect with another, most get two in a good relationship, but when your lucky enough to get all three things to get in sink. WOW! There is no drug that can fake it. No joy quite like it. It's probably the most addictive drug in the world. Pure and simple. LOVE!
The actual feelings are many and varied. I could pull out a dictionary and just start writing down every positive one I come across, but any one can do that. The best to me is simply, bliss.
The feeling you get when they walk in a room and your heart beats a little faster, a smile spreads across your face with out you even being aware of it, and your joy is amplified to the nth degree and feels like it can never go away. You can't stop smiling. You just can't.
Content, euphoric, trustful, and awestruck are my next choices for a good description. But again it just doesn't do it justice. Love is a feeling. How do you describe a feeling with another feeling. I hope this helps, but we all have different opinions. This is mine.

Posted: 5/24/2008 6:25:01 PM | I love that feeling when I get to that point in a conversation when every other guy who ever liked me started to show it by busting my chops, being controling, contrary, inattentive, silent, frightened, freaked out whatever, and with this guy it DOESN'T happen. It's so weird, because I notice it maybe 10 seconds after this guy says, "that sounds like a really good idea" or "If you want to, you should" that everyone else would have given me shit just there. Lovely, lovely feeling.
What's funny too, if I try and explain that to him, then he looks at me like I'm crazy, like "what do you mean?" But I'll settle for what I got | |

The gentle touches that make you feel like you are floating on air and every part of your body tingle 
The hugs from behind for no reason that make you feel safe and special
The late night talks that should leave you exhausted in the morning but don't because soon you will be with them again and that's enough to keep you going 
The smells, the tastes, the sounds 
The feeling that nothing else matters and whatever life throws at ya you can handle it because you know they will be there to support you and they have your back
God I can't wait for that again | |
