| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 7:59:50 AM | Well just wondering if you have noticed a certain attraction to star signs. Well I seem to be ultimatley attracted to gemini's these days , however of the only two big relationships I have had have been taurus.. So my question is do you find yourself attracted to a particular star sign. | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 1:04:40 PM | You like geminis cause you have a thing for twins?????? lol
I've never been one for star signs, money or looks - it all comes down to pure personality!
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 2:16:10 PM | | Haven't really noticed....it's not something I tend to ask in the first conversation. Can't contribute much - sorry! | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 5:28:56 PM | Is "Attractive Girl" a star sign? Because I tend to be drawn to those.
In a more serious response I'm a big not-believer in star signs, and fail to care at all about them. I try to find out people's birthdays, but star signs... irrelevant.

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 7:14:31 PM | Well, like any science, an understanding of astrology develops over time. It really is no different to any other trait theory.. And it really isn't something someone can just google, and then appear to be knowledgable about.
I've found it to be a pretty reliable (though also flexible) guide, when meeting new people, and I most definately have my preferences for friends and partners. It's easier when you can just accept things and not act all offended and surprised when they are true to their sign. It's like anything I guess... each sign has a myriad of good and bad traits, but to fully understand, you really have to look at the big picture (12 stars in relation to one earth).
Each sign is a part of 12 signs (stars), made up of their travels around earth. How each sign (or group of people) interacts in relation to the rest of the planet (and me, in terms of dating, working, living etc.) interests me...

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 9:14:50 PM | | Yeah I definitely seem to get along better with Geminis, Aquarians and other Librans, both as friends and partners, it's not something I ask when I meet somebody but just seems to work out that way. I've also stated on here before and been crucified for it that I just can't seem to get along with Pisces, again it's not a case of "oh you're a Pisces I don't like you" but seems to happen over and over again. Freud would probably say it goes back to my terrible relationship with my mother, and also the worst guy I've ever been with who shared her birthday. But of course like BA said we are all individuals :) | |

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 9:26:13 PM | | I find the gender differences in the same starsign to be fairly broad. They may invariably give me the shits as a male and be quite the opposite as a female or vice versa. I do think earth signs etc attract to their own kind. Though I must say Pisces women have run away with my heart on more than one occassion in the past for some reason. However as Venus enters Saturn I'm not so sure anymore and think I am finally cured. | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 10:02:03 PM | I suppose Gemini is a safe sign...if you don't get along with one twin you are sure to find the other twin more reasonable.
Not sure which sign I get along with, personality comes with it and I suppose the rising sign and all the other aspects that goes with it makes the person...... that's if there is truth to astrology.
I usually get along with most but find Cancerian, Piscean and Taureans a little touchy. Also some Virgos are a bit Weird
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 10:07:21 PM | Star signs are all mixed up together anyway....so...i dont care.....

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 11:08:59 PM | | I'm with White Gold on this one, I don't think those big balls of gas and spheres of rock spinning around out there have any influence on our personalities. | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 11:17:31 PM | Though, I have to admit that sometimes gas can have an effect on my personality.
It's not so much an astrological thing, though. More related to poor diet.

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/25/2008 11:31:29 PM | ^^^hmm I wonder what my Gastrological sign is? ..oops excuse me. Never mind. | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/26/2008 12:08:39 AM | | as an afficionado of astrology it is a very complex subject and there is so much information in a persons chart that it would be very difficult to judge by star signs. It is very interesting how one persons astrology interacts with other peoples astrological energy. It is also very interesting to compare charts of parents and children to see the dynamics at work and what energies have been inherited. | |

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/26/2008 4:31:34 AM | | Aries guys seem to want to control me so I shy away from them | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/26/2008 6:35:01 AM | | I don't really care much about starsigns and to be honest, if a guy starts conversing too much about my starsign and his and his perceived compatibility or personality traits etc, I sometimes become quite bored and disinterested. | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/26/2008 3:26:26 PM | Hmmmm Star signs! I'm a scorpio does that mean I dont get on with anyone really.. and that you can recognise the guys from my past relationships by their scars? | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/26/2008 7:57:24 PM | Let's see now. My first wife was a Taurean, my second a Virgo. So I could say that I am not compatible with those signs.
On the other hand, I suppose it was the mutual interests that were the major atractions at the time. I forgot that when people share all of their interests equally, there's nothing left to know. The mystery that was there at the begining just dissapears.
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/27/2008 2:17:58 AM | yeah i can relate to that shell225.im a scorpio who was married to another scorpion.....notice i said WAS MARRIED...it was a fatal attraction...we were too much alike.....however-when it was good,it was euphoric-when it was bad,it was bloody awful!!!so now i steer clear of anyone that is the same starsign as me.so maybe people just happen to be attracted to the traits of a certain starsign. | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/27/2008 4:47:26 AM | I agree with the poster who said it's disconcerting when a fellow starts going on and on about what sign is most compatible with his....at that point I usually just tell him that mine is 'exit'.

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/27/2008 5:47:55 AM | hey HnH ,,
I had a date with a guy who was only dating girls from two starsigns. He was commmitted to the cause....
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/27/2008 7:28:29 AM | | funny, i found geminis great in small doses, i guess the evil twin gotta come out n play eventually muahaha ;-) | |
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/27/2008 10:15:18 AM | Happy: 'committed' is what some of them ought to be...

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/27/2008 6:10:09 PM |
He was commmitted to the cause
I bet his cause would change really quick if someone like Angelina Jolie who wasn't in his star sign range asked him out!!
| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/27/2008 7:22:29 PM | I do find it amazing how each sign does have certain traits. I'm a Leo and find i get along great with Libra, Aries and Gemini, but at the same time have got along just as well with signs who weren't compatable. It really comes down to the individual, and i certainly wouldn't discriminate against someone with a star sign that doesn't match mine lol. To only date women with a certain sign is a little insane, it all comes down to having that connection, has nothing to do with star signs, money etc. There is a profile i seen on here not long ago, the woman wouldn't date anyone under a 7 figure salary because she thinks she deserved that kind of life style and would settle for no less hahaha. | |

| Star sign attraction Posted: 5/27/2008 11:08:02 PM | in the early 60s, a woman teacher conducted a famous experiment where she divided the class up into blue and brown eyes and treated them like black and white people (respectively) were being treated at the time. yada yada.... anyway, the moral is that if you treat people on the basis of their star sign, then the egg might give birth to the chicken...or vice versa..
having said that.... the stars at the back of the cleo mag can sooooo accurate when its talking about geminis...
