I'm curious as to why I am not having more luck attracting women here. I have photos, everything is filled out, I'm not completely bizarre.............

Posted: 5/25/2008 11:44:33 AM | Well, I don't see anything 'wrong' with your profile, though I'm not exactly the demographic you're appealing to. You may want to be a little more specific in describing yourself and who you're looking for - "intelligent, independent, loving, caring, passionate, happy, fun, giving, honest, and respectful" is pretty generic, and having no messaging restrictions whatsoever (even if it's true!) can come across as a bit desperate/indiscriminate.
But to answer your question, bear in mind that men GROSSLY outnumber women on this, and most, dating sites. Most of us have very very low reply rates, so don't take it personally. | |

Posted: 5/25/2008 2:20:21 PM | Your profile is very good in my opinion. There is two things I would suggest perhaps. Perhaps a closer face shot wouldn't hurt. Also, try explaining who you are as a person more descriptively instead of just simple adjectives. Describing what you like to do and enjoy is good as well, but put a bit more into your actual personality.
Like the above post the numbers are against us men and don't take it personally if you don't get much responce/contact. They don't know what they're missing, if I was a girl in your area I'd send you a message in a heart beat  . | |

I left my messaging options open because I'm pretty open to what I'm looking for. I've dated women 1000 miles away, older women, younger women.......... they all had qualities I was looking for that transcend restrictions.
Yeah, I know the numbers are against me. I was really wondering if there was something glaring I was doing wrong.
