I like Metacritic for its "combined" reviews of movies. It's also good if you want to rent a film that's not new, and don't want to argue with your date over what's a good film

Indiana Jones got only a 65/100 on average - I have read some mixed reviews. I will probably wait for it to come to DVD and rent it, but I generally accept to go to/rent a film that has a "green" color on Metacritic.

I would go see "Speed Racer" because I was a big fan of the cartoon as a kid... but I see it only got a 37/100. Same people who made "Matrix"

No movie talk...* its summer* for heaven's sake... go out and about ... summer is short (all we gat is 2 weeks in all) tan, stroll down memory lane... go for long drive, have ice cream, go old montreal, St-Anne de belleuve, the zoo, la ronde, hiking, walking, run/jog etc... save the movies for our brutal winters and rainy days... make your own movies.

Toodles... just my 5 cents worth ...

Orrrrrrrrr, go see a movie. Everyone has their own entertainment interests, this thread was started for those who liked movies. So, yes, let's talk movies! How about an amazing movie like The Dark Knight?

I recently saw Pan's Labrynth / El Laberinto del fauno (Rental). I liked it. It was not exactly what I expected, kind of violent but worth the 2 hours.

The only other movie i'll be seeing in the theatre this summer is The Dark Knight, the rest, like X-Files, can be seen in the future from my comfy couch
