FYI: I've been taking my kids to each air show since they were all born and we really missed the last ones they canceled here at the airport ! If anyone else is interested in attending here ya go .. the website for all the info. http://www.17wingcfday.com/ I know myself , my crew and some friends will all be attending... so I thought to throw it out there to anyone who may have missed the little advertising they are doing.. Either way ,...enjoy !

It should be great fun ! The Moose Jaw one is even bigger and better. I won't be able to attend as I need to maintain my energy for another committment.....which brings up that someone better be back from Portage on time!!!

Hey ! Sally O ....why did you say this thread was marked as spam ? I have noticed that comments ghave been made such as that on other threads.....I know you can recommend a thread be deleted. But how do you if one is at risk?? By the way, this thread is not spam.....it is, as many other threads are, a way to get people together for an event.

Perhaps it's that pack mentality TEMPT ? voting it ( this thread ) to be deleted all becuase of the OP ? ( some ppls don't like eddyjoecdn.... personally I don't know why ?? lol ) NOooo not on pof ! lol I just thought ( ly) that the event wasn't advertised as broadly as it could have been ! I would like to think that if someone else came across an event that others would appreciate knowing about ;that they too would "advertise" it ! Heck ,it's free and it's a good time... mind you i've never been to southport... But a close friend will be manning one of the static display aircraft... ( yes he's a military pilot and NO I don't send him regular $$$ to be my friend ! ..lol ) As for returning... Tempt I received an email that said you were already planning an early departure sat night... ( some little birdie told me ) ..lol As I said my greater interest and priority is the kidlets and the air show... when we do return, is when we do ! Not cutting short family time just for an " entertainment engagement" ! I'll be there and ready to have fun ! No matter what ! I have plenty to be thankful for and meeting all of yous-all is the primary motivation.. nothing will bring me down... happy - happy - joy - joy ! ( Mind you i haven't carried the 6 lawnchairs and blanket and umbrella 2 miles both to and from the van yet in the roasting sunshine.... I may need another shower ! But I'll be there with bells on...
