Who Are "the community"?
Posted: 5/27/2008 9:34:05 AM
Occasionally I get a thread deleted... by "the community".

Now, I assume I am part of said "community", however, I see nowhere the option to delete someone's thread.

So, who are "the community"?

Your Profile is less than 30 Days old.

OP look at your join date.

That is to make it harder for voting trolls who go around voting to keep invalid threads.

Also, it takes a while for a new person to familiarize themselves with the rules.

There are a few forum members that delete their profiles every couple of weeks for NO valid reason. Maybe they should not be allowed to post as well as not be able to vote for 30 days. We will see a stop to that practice.

Roger that.

Now wait... are you so sure it isn't a conspiracy?

Although I will say in all seriousness that the "instructions" for this site could use some serious work... for example, a brief synopsis of the 1000-page Site Instruction Manual (in a conspicuous area) would be good.
