If you try to make first contact they either not answer you of totally ignore you. And noticed that some are just out right RUDE! And I have found by reading some of the profiles of these primadonnas that they are expecting a perfect world of which they will never achieve! | |

It's a dating site, and this site in particular is not like Yahoo! personals where the weeding out is more systematic. Don't put your eggs in one basket, either, and use other free sites, too... dotcom and connectingsingles dotcom are two other sites that are worth trying.
I, for one, respond to ALL e-mails, and am specific upfront about what I am looking for so as to not waste my time or his time. People can read into that either way they want. Some men find it refreshing, some men find it long-winded, and others can't decide. I'm just saving myself babysitting money if the guy is not a fit. But I do respond in the most polite way that I possibly can, and sometimes I get flamed for it, while other times they read my response, and they delete it.

I dont see the point in useless emails. Even when I try to say no thank you in a nice way, some guys just keep mailing and mailing over and over.."Oh C'mon, why not" blah blah blah. I had to turn off my pms too because I was getting repeated ims from 60 year old men from 50 miles away..lol | |

Granted there are some creepos on here lol. I've sent messages that consist of many things and get nothing. Also have 0 messages sent off to me. Posted: 7/23/2009 1:59:43 PM | I find it rude to not at least say, "thanks but no thanks." Common courtesy goes a long way in life no matter what the situation. Its how I hope I am treated as well. No reason to not at least acknowledge the receipt of the letter. Goodness, for some people actually hitting the send button on that first letter is super hard.
Seriously ~to both the ladies and guys (I've had the same issue with guys on POF) just treat others the way you want to be treated and be polite! | |
