| Does it matter to you which side of the bed you or your lover sleeps on???
Posted: 5/28/2008 4:31:59 PM | Okay, I researched the threads and ONLY found two threads that had the subject of "Which Side of the Bed" but were in the "Sex and Dating" thread and "Manitoba" thread and neither had anything to do with my question really, so here it goes:
So, you're in a relationship with someone and the awkwardness has arisen where either one of you is going to "spend the night" at your respective lover's home for the first time. Do you ask your lover which side of the bed do they want to sleep on, let it take it's course or tell her "This is MY SIDE OF THE BED and just expect them to deal with it because it is YOUR home? And what about further down the road when the relationship gets even more serious leading towards cohabitating or even considering matrimony.....do you compromise and let your lover pick the side of the bed that will ultimately be THEIR side throughout the course of the relationship?
I am just curious as to both genders perspectives on this. It might be a silly question, but just wanted to get some views on how the two sexes feel about a simple situation such as this.

It has more to do with compromise and what you're willing to give up or let go of...
I will concede either side of the bed if he makes sure the alarm is barely discernible.
*I'll wake ya sweetie.... shhhhh.....
And if you make me brekky in bed I'll make ya dinner in the buff.
See? Easy peasy.... It's all about give and take.....

It's never simple here hon.
I don’t care who claims which side of the mattress as long as he meets me in the spring.
Well you got 20 some days left frau then summer comes and then what,spring forward or fall back?
And if you make me brekky in bed I'll make ya dinner in the buff.

If worse came to worse, I could sleep in my lay-z-boy computer chair...or on a oddly shaped rock, if I really had to. | |

Posted: 5/28/2008 8:16:21 PM | I always take the side farthest away from the door because when that killer/monster /alien  comes in he's not getting me first!! Unless of course I need the bathroom in the middle of the night and HAVE to step on the floor where I just know the alligators under the bed will take me down!  ................
Really!! lol That's why there's no more drinks for me before bedtime. I need to make it until the morning light!  (At which time I can scare myself ..................... by looking in the mirror!)
