| Re: City or Country Posted: 9/20/2004 3:53:40 PM | | Country! so I can have more pets! I want lots of land and some horses and of course an old Victorian house, yeah! | |

| Re: City or Country Posted: 9/20/2004 4:06:01 PM | | Definately country! I worked in the city for ten years on weekends and don't miss it at all! Now I live on 235 acres of farmland and timber with about a eight of a mile driveway. You can't even see my house from the road and that's exactly how I like it. And no I don't own it but I love it lol. Piece and quite is where it is at for me now. lol | |

| Re: City or Country Posted: 9/20/2004 4:15:44 PM | | country... its quiet and i can actually see the stars at night. but i am still close enough to a large city that i can get whatever i need with only a 45 min drive. im not a club kind of person so i dont need the city for most of its amenities. | |

| Re: City or Country Posted: 9/20/2004 4:39:00 PM | Neither. I would rather live next to the ocean. Preferably with some killer waves. Nothing like having gods’ playground in your back yard. Not to mention it’s free.
There was a story written in the local paper one time about the oldest surfer. He was in his 60’s. He was a doctor of medicine and lived in a motor home with his wife and four kids and used the home to chase waves. His oldest son turned 18 and he had no money for a present for him. So he took his son down to the oceans water and told him “Here you go son this is all yours.” As he pointed out to the ocean from the sand.
I love that story.

Course the nearest city too me is d*mn small so, it's not too convenient! Only about 6,500 people. That barely qualifies. gotta drive like 50 miles to hit any major metropolitain area.

| Re: City or Country Posted: 9/20/2004 6:44:36 PM | | I want a small farm..this small town stuff just sucks...none of the "country benefits (like no real close neighbours and a bit of privacy outdoors), and none of the town or city stuff....frikking bar is closed through the week till Friday night, nothing open after 10, etc.... | |
|
| Re: City or Country Posted: 9/20/2004 6:47:52 PM | | Oops I dropped it again..... could you be a doll and get that for me goth? lol OOOOOOOOh I guess this forum was about liveing in the country or city. lol Definately country. When you live in the country and you've been out partying all night and you and your lady friend come home. You don't have to rush to the house. The yard or the hood of the car will do just fine on a nice summer evening. lol | |
|
| Re: City or Country Posted: 9/20/2004 6:50:25 PM | | ^^^^^^^yes I will get that!..lol.. this is why I want to live in the country!^^^^^^^^ | |
|
| Re: City or Country Posted: 9/20/2004 6:53:17 PM | | It's nice and quite no one bothers you. When someone does pull up the drive my dog (ben) lets you know you have company. And town is only five miles in either direction. What more could you ask for lol. | |
