| Open minded???....Do you try new things????

Obviously this can be taken a couple of ways, but what have you done that is out of the normal for you.
Last week I picked my daughter up from work and she suggested we both go and have a pedicure.....So off we went and had our pedicures.....She then had some work done to her nails so I spent another half an hour in the massage chair....Damn it was good.
I actualy enjoyed it, and will probably go again one day.....Even if I am copping flack off my mates.....lol....But then I've never really worried what other people think, so they're wasting their breath....lol | |

Posted: 6/1/2008 8:01:11 PM | | well done brisguy ,knowing your situation your daughter is going to remember that day for the rest of her life ,you have a bond with your daughter which would make other men envious if they could have that time back again . i tell you a funny story which is true . a collegue i used to work with many years was going home for leave ,now this man was covered in hair like a gorilla so he decided to have a torso wax .well they started the waxing ,well he squeeled like a stuck pig not surprising cursed himself for ever thinking up the idea but had to continue to the finished end because he would of like a right pilick with this clear,smooth as a babies bum stripe right up his back .i couldnt stop laughing at him when he came out red as a beetroot and bandaged to the hilt ,to all you women out there who have waxing done i hope your men appreciate it as to what you have to go through for them ,im just glad im not hairy | |

Hey Briz...glad you finally did it! Hope you went for the discreet polish instead of the blaze red!!
As it says in my profile, i'll have a go at most things as long as it doesn't involve height, even then I might think about it. Have now tried scuba diving as well as getting on the back of a motor bike. Also did a camping trip from here with strangers. Actually turned down an offer last week to do something outrageous..... maybe next time they ask!!

Then you can sit back in the massage chair and enjoy the experience, not to mention having really nice feet for the next little while. Wear thongs or equivalent so you dont ruin the polish putting your shoes back on. You come out all relaxed which will help you feel more positive about things. | |

As for the thread I do consider myself open minded and I love trying new things!!! I am just running out of things to try. | |

Bris-guy, what are the fumes like, in store? I'm thinking about taking my 15 yo in but I nearly keel over when I go past the place in my local shopping centre. | |
