Another Jazz Fest has come and gone.
For those of you who dont already know, this was my last event as host. After 21 months of volunteer event hosting its time I passed the mantel on to others. There is still the dance in Palm Beach Gardens where I am "helping" Sunpass and the dance at Christopher's on the 13th I have posted for Catch_me_if_u_can. After those my volunteer time will be over and I will just be a normal fish in the sea like everyone else!
Thanks again to Lew (lewchef - his pics are numbered), Hume (scubadiver6911 - is pics follow Lew's) and Kathy (truetravellover - the 1st dz posted) for taking all the pictures today... if anyone else has any to upload just let me know!

If you were there and you had a hurricane and you REMEMBER having a hurricane then you should have had two! LOL
Most everyone asked for the recipe so here it is:
1 liter vodka
1 liter gin
1 liter white rum
1 liter amertto almond liqueur (or cheap knock off)
1 liter triple sec
250 ml grenadine
Blend all the above together
1 can of pineapple juice
1 can of grapefruit juice
1 can of passion fruit juice
Blend the three fruits together
Fill glass with ice, pour in 3/4 glass of the alcohol top with 1/4 glass of juice mix.
NOTICE: The above recipe does call for 1/2 liter bottle of 151 rum which I omitted for the safety of the group! LOL
To make it by the glass:
1 oz vodka

Fill glass with ice, pour in 3/4 glass of the alcohol top with 1/4 glass of juice mix (equal parts pineapple, grapefruit and passion fruit).
If you wanna get fancy garnish with an orange slice. | |

Thank you for making my first event such a blast! I laughed so much that my sides hurt. Great exercise!
It was so nice to meet you Pete, and Lew, Debbie, Laura, Van, Steve, "Francesca"  that is you Lucille , Hume, Jackie, Daria, Tony and his buddy Boricua, just to mention a few members I had a chance to mingle with... Pretty cool group. I like!
I LOVED those Hurricanes Pete. Had no idea what it was at first, but after that first drink, hmmm  I was feeling groovy...
Thank you all who contributed to the different hors d'oeuvre, snacks, munchies, etc. Everything looked great!! That also includes all the photographers. The event was nicely planned, and even the weather cooperated.

Thanks for the great party, food and drinks were really great, even healthy!
Sorry it took so long to post my pictures but I have been working on my boat and renting a trailor while it out the water, I had the steering fixed, I put on a new dive platform and depth finder and when I put it back in the water my battery was dead. Boats are a lot of work and expense!
