Posted: 6/1/2008 11:45:00 PM | Just would like some advice from you girls out there. I have recieved alot of messages from very nice women but not sure when to suggest meeting them. I'm having fun chatting with people on plenty of fish and think it has been very positive. But I have been asked to meet many times but it doesn't happen. I'm not sure what I should do.

Why did it not happen? They asked and then bailed out? or you asked and then it did not work out?
If a women shows interest in you, then after a few emails you should broach the subject of getting to know each other better in person.
Do the same if you were initiating conversation with the women, if you feel there is interest there.
Some people unfortunately seem to be looking just to collect pen pals and chat buddies... | |

Posted: 6/2/2008 12:26:14 AM | | Email and IM are fine. But talking on the phone should happen for about a week or so and THEN let the woman suggest meeting. It is normal for women to ask the question on the phone of " What would you like to do?" from there we all know we have to eat so there's your start. But we never suggest meeting no matter how many emails or IM's, but per phone after we get to know them a bit. | |

Posted: 6/2/2008 9:19:59 AM | Lots of women feel differently on this. I like to meet face to face early on because I like to see a guys' eyes when we talk and read his body language. It is too easy to say the right things (and wrong things) in an email without the inflection of a voice and the look in the eyes.
However some women have people warning them, all the guys that are online are rapists and weirdos, so they want to be cautious and take it slow.
Still others like the dance, the slow build up, the fantasy of what it could be.
No telling why women are saying no unless you ask them. Everyone is ready at a different pace. | |

Posted: 6/2/2008 9:49:39 AM | In my view, sites like this one are used in two ways - as an introduction service for people interested in finding a romantic connection in the real world, or as an entertaining interactive role playing fantasy computer game to help pass the time.
Life is short, when I was looking for love I preferred the former use and anyone who didn't want to meet face to face within a week or so, didn't want to meet face to face, and was wasting my time.
