| Where are the Lexington Singles
Posted: 6/2/2008 2:49:13 PM | Okay, after moving to this area (Richmond, KY) and not having any luck finding singles. I have to ask - where are the hangouts for local singles in and around the Lexington area? I have been to O'Neils ( I do like this place, I like the age range there but not having much luck there) Saddle Ridge, Blue Moon, heck I even tried Barnes & Noble - haha. So, if someone could let me in on the secret hangouts I would appreicate it. It seems very hard here to find singles. I thought about starting a group on meetup.com to get local singles together but not sure if there are even many singles area this area period.

Posted: 6/4/2008 9:30:26 AM | | Good luck, I've been trying to find them for years!!! Actually, I have much better luck and more fun in some of the smaller bars in town. Harry's patio is a great place to mingle,****ails on a Friday night is one of my favorites, Shamrocks is another good one and Cadillac Ranch is great place to go if you just want to "meet" someone and watch drunk people on the mechanical bull. There are a ton of smaller bars in Lexington with a good crowd, but I tend to stick close to my area. I'm sure some other people can chime in with their favorite local hangouts. Good luck!!! | |

Posted: 7/29/2008 7:03:52 PM | | that's a good question. i think us singles should unite and all wear a blue heart on our clothing to let the others singles know. lol. u know in this computer age of technology we do seem to be more distant than ever however i always thought that Harveys was cool for the scenery but limited interaction because of the noise leve. if you start up a group on meetup.com then let me know. maybe we could use the singles event forum in here to start our own blue heart party??? I have always heard grocery stores were good places to meet people. Maybe we all should stand outside of krogers??? I am trying to start a chess club. If anyone is interested let me know. | |
