I am having the same problem. I have had 2 gifts from the same person and saw them both yesterday but am only able to see one of them today - the other has only a small red cross in the top left hand corner - can anyone ?
Please advise. I attempted to block one person. I right clicked, pressed block...... and everyone's pictures disappeared including mine. Please tell me how to reverse what I did. I have been trying to do it myself and am unable to resolve the problem.

After months of no problems, I am seing random images missing. For example, on page http://www.plentyoffish.com/member10014389.htm the main image of the member is linked at http://pics.plentyofsite.com/dating/56/vm0sd1ucrd_37905937.jpg Browsing to that image returns "HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found"
I've tried this on two different browsers and got the same results. This is a SITE problem. I do not believe that lots of users browser settings have gone wrong.
Pleased its not just me I have been trying to resolve this all morning, and now see that its a problem for a few others...annoying when you want to see what someone looks like.
It seems the pictures that are not available are somewhat random or some of the more recent picture uploads. I cleared my browser cache to be sure that the pics I can see are not just stored in the cache. It seems to be a server related problem, as far to many users are experiencing the exact same issues. It's only happened in the past day or two. Perhaps the culprit is some recently rewritten code?
usually a red x in the image place holder means that the file is simply not where it should be, OR it could be timing out on the upload OR you have turned off the show images feature in the browser.
To see if the image is actually still there: right click where the picture should be, one of the options will be "show picture". Click on it and the picture will show up if it is still on the system (disk drive).
I have no issues with images at this time but the procedure I explained above usually works if the image is available.
