hello all im fairley new to this forum, and still finding my way around, but it seems a cool place to be!
what i cant figure out is how to quote someone elses statement in my own post.
how do i go about that?
allso it seems i can onley post in a thread when preveousley having posted in it, if there have been 10 posts inbetween. :O( not nice really

plentyoffish site/suggestions/help....go to this forum and you will find a thread that explains the quote thing and allows you to practise first.

Just look at the top of the smileys when you post - it tells you how right there

So........you can use...[ quote ] .....or ...parentheses.....either way ..... you must ..... re-type the the poster's quote ????? Is that correct...???

Just copy and paste their post. But make sure you hit the reply button in their post to get it to appear above your post window.

good tip is to hold ctrl button and click post reply, that way your new post opens in a new tab, and you can refer to the full thread as opposed to the 1 post you're replying to
