Posted: 6/5/2008 12:24:23 PM | How many hear like blowing bubbles with gum? This is better than smoking cigarettes. I don't even chew gum myself but I keep track of the bubble gum blowing records.
I heard that really big bubbles are blown from big league chew and double bubble.
We see bubble gum blowing in baseball.

As long as you don't smack your gum or chew it with your mouth open, I'm fine with it......

Double Bubble is the only gum that'll let you blow a decent bubble, but you still need several pieces to do it.

Posted: 6/12/2008 7:44:46 PM | I chew hubba bubba in either grape, watermelon or strawberry. I sit at my desk and blow bubbles as I post. I used to have my main photo as me blowing a bubble but people thought it was something else in my mouth. I used to have someone who tried to stop me from doing this because he said at my age, it was immature.
I just like bubble gum and when I cannot have a cigarette, it helps.

Bazooka... the old-timey one with the comic wrapper
Dubble Bubble... Watermelon only... classic flavor is like chewing on rubber bands.
Bubble Yum... oh so tasty but way too mushy once the flavor is gone.
Yes, I am a bubble gum connoisseur. 
And yes, the bubble blowing part is essential to the bubble gum experience. | |

I start with 2 pieces and about 10 minutes later, I add a third, lol. I've tried lots of gum and found that because it's thin, it blows the best and biggest...shoot, sometimes it even gets tangled in my bangs!
Oh, and it keeps it's flavor the longest, too. And for whatever reason, I don't get complaints of smelling like an ashtray, so I wonder if it's because I'm constantly sipping on the tea and chewing so much gum? | |

I also find that its bubbles hold up better in the wind than other brands.
If we could solve the problem of the excessive packaging that comes with gum, I'd be a much happier chewer. | |

I do! I just recently figured out that I can belly dance AND blow bubbles at the same time....only during rehearsals..

Posted: 6/25/2008 8:26:06 PM | I use to drive my dad crazy when I would "snap" my gum . Love to blow bubbles with gum, but "gum snapping" is the best. Yes, this does drive people crazy. Again, I have had people ask me to teach them how to make it snap between their teeth. One gum that I hate is GRAPE gum. Can't stand the smell of it. I've never seen anyone blow one that big. Guess I'm hanging out with the wrong crowd. 
The record (according to Dubble Bubble website) was a 20" bubble ... by some 10 year old girl in 1942.
