My sex life was ok but by no means great.I lost his father when I was only 4 months pregnant. Make a long story short I gained weight and am now a size 14. I have recently started to date again and I was recently with a younger guy and he seemed to love the fact that I had a tummy. Is this normal or was he just a one in a million type of guy? | |

I mean, look around.................how many little skinny guys have you seen with big girls. Personally, I don't get that but to each his own. I've been with girls that are 30+ lbs overweight and absolutely enjoyed them. I have no issues with that but I prefer a perfect size 6. Will I date girls again that are a few pounds over? Of course I will, but I look more what's in their heart than what on the outside. If their a perfect size 6, well that's a nice bonus. | |

I like a woman with a bit of a tummy, they tend to be...cuddlier to me...
I like to cuddle though... and don't get me wrong, women with flat stomachs can be jsut as cuddly but I guess that's just my personal preference. | |

Does she make me laugh? Do I feel accepted as myself? Is she kind? Does she carry herself in a sexy way? Do we share common interests? Can I trust her with my secrets?
To me, a tummy is about as significant as hair color. I'll notice it, but won't really care. | |

The reason for this is because there aren't many of these women anymore. The obesity rates in civilized countries have tripled over the last 20 years, and the AVERAGE size in both Britain and the US is pushing 14-16.
So, if we had a choice, we'd hook up with the skinny ones, but all the women just keep getting fatter and fatter. Sad. | |

^^^ I couldnt disagree more.. I like a woman who isnt all skinny n crap.. sure toned up or athletic would be great but theres nothing wrong with a woman who isnt.. as long as there healthy and take care of themselves.

I think that anyone that does this in general is insecure. You eluded that anyone not "skinny"(your words) was undesirable. The sheer fact that you wanted to "hook up" with the skinny ones makes me think you are insecure and obviously have trouble meeting any lady of value since that is how you have chosen to identify them. This opens up another discussion entirely.
Why can't people stay skinny forever? Why is it that women, after getting into a serious relationship, let themselves go? I've experienced this personally, and so have many of my friends.
I have an ex who put on a good 25 lbs while we were together and after we broke up all of a sudden lost the weight. Then, she got into another relationship, and she's ballooning again.
If I ever did get married (and yes, it'll be a stretch) and my wife porked up to the point that I didn't find her physically attractive, then yes, I'd leave her. Why would I want to be married to someone I'm not attracted to? | |
