Only this time, we are welcoming summer...REDNECK STYLE!
PAPABEAR'S REDNECK WRECKER IS BACK
WHEN: Saturday, June 21, 2008
WHERE: Country Roads Saloon
2120 16th Ave NE (rear of the Raddison Hotel, 19st and 16th Ave NE)
Calgary, ALberta
START: 7:00pm till close (2:00am), or later if you continue getting wreckered somewhere else
WHAT IS IT: a social gathering of POF's rowdiest, rootin'est tootin'est, craziest SOBs in the West to welcome in summer. With it being the longest day in the year, that only means that it is the longest day to get wreckered...HA!
WHY: Cause I damn well wanted to
Once again, this wrecker is not limited to just Calgarians. THIS IS A PROVINCE WIDE INVITATION (no snow this time) to come on down to the Roads. The last wrecker turnout was outstanding with about 100 official attendees, and 20 or so unofficial. It sure would be nice to break the WRECKER RECORD this time *hint hint*
Negotiations will soon commence with the management of the Roads for donations of door prizes and drink specials. Yes, apparently I do have to warn them we are on the loose again..hehe. They loved us there last time, and will love us again this time. I will find out the band in the next day or 2, cover charge and what time it starts, etc...
And ONCE AGAIN, for that personal twist, I Papabear, will donate another gift certificate for $200 which I will announce a couple days before the WRECKER. I wasn't too sure if I was going to this time, but I realized that it just wouldn't be a WRECKER if I didn't. Details will follow...

Maybe I'll head to the bar up here that night as a Calgary Country band will be playing at Newfie bar. And I found out it is not far from where I'm staying.. and since no vehicle definately will cab it...

2. do women have to be accompanied by a man to get into the saloon ?
3.Is it okay enter the saloon if a person has had 2 molson canadian beers first ?
