Me and my friends will never attend while they are at Elephant and Wheelbarrow....the place is too small and not a great place to meet ppl for the 1st time, not like you can chat as such...Its a crowded nightspot....and l know from going there myself...Say 100 fish ppl turned up...chances are you wont even get into the place unless your there early enough....I dont think inviting ppl to a night out they cant get into the place of is the right move....anyways my 2bob worth.....Suzy | |

When i walked in there were a heap of people in a group, met heaps of people and you can always go down to the bottom bar or smoking area to talk as it's quieter.
As been said before, if people want another venue then they should organize it, there's nothing stopping anyone from doing so.
I think The Pub at Crown would be an excellent place to have it. | |

Yes, age is a big disadvantage for those of us in the 'mature' years, but I went to the last event to see what it was all about, and to meet new people in a place I'd never been to before. I had a good time, and should have a better time next up. | |

To us it's nothing Kel, but to a lot it means everything, if you're not within 3 or 4 years of them they wont even talk to you, i know where he is coming from!
Read my profile again, it's about the "Must not be" and "Must not do"! I'm on a roll of adding to it again LOL.
I've been attracted to 20 year olds, and also 50 year olds, but the criteria on here is a bit of a joke.
I love coming to these events, it's amazing that once people meet you they are not judgemental and see you for who you are, not for what you do/don't do, age, looks etc!
It doesn't matter what age you are, rock up and have a drink and meet new people. | |

I was sent a message tonight from someone who owns or runs a club in stkilda...
Im gonna go check it out next weekend prob
So depending on how that goes, next months meet may be a little different

I may have seen a whole heap less public vomiting too! I'm all for a party, but truely by the time everyone got there I couldn't hear what anyone was saying unless I was outside.. No offence ment at all, Tatts, cos I know it appears to get left to you...You do a good job of getting people there, But variety is the spice and all that!
