Posted: 6/12/2008 1:51:57 PM | With all the people I noticed from the Central LA Area (Alexandria, Pineville, etc. etc.) I cannot believe that we cannot organize a local area get-to-gather.
How about suggestions, ideas, etc.? I know we have several nice local area restaurants who have meeting rooms available, would something like this work? | |

Organization is not a problem, I think we could figure out several places we could do a "Meet and Greet" but the thing is getting folks to come from around here... I see a lot of people from Alexandria, Shreveport, etc. I am from Natchitoches and willing to travel for something like that.
So what say, LA people? Ain't you up for a party?? The summer is waning, autumn is breathing down our necks, wouldn't it be great to have some stuff going on around here?

Good luck with those plans though. I just skimmed about 30 local active female profiles and none of them participate in the forums. Not sure how active central Louisiana is.

Well I am not sure how this works but I bet we could come up with something. I work Karoake sometimes at the mall at El Rodeo. This could be a fun place to meet and greet. The best way that I can see is that each one of us email a few of the people we talk to or view and a few we haven't yet. It usually seems like there are never enough men who want to step up. If we keep it very informal then more could come out of it for the future. Get a few ideas of what everyone would like.

I have attended several singles get togethers while I was out in Florida and have actually set up a few. We kept it all informal, all met up in one place like at the bowling alley or something like that where it gave you some time to talk to others without having to yell to be heard then we would all get together and go out and go dancing for a while afterwards. If you know of a place, time and date you would like to do this I can help you with the set up process. It all goes through the owner of the site and he sets up the sign up forum and it gives you a general idea of how many people would attend. I would definately attend another singles get together. There are also some co-workers of mine that are single that would probably attend as well.
