 The BALLROOM is a NON-SMOKING portion of the Strat! However, smoking is permitted in the Bar/Hall areas! 
The Strat is near completion of some major rennovations in the Ballroom...so come see how cool it looks and feels (New A/C...yeah!) They have expanded the bar to run nearly the entire length of the room...built a new, large dance floor...added a killer sound system...raised the ceilings...added two large video screens...and more!
Extension of the evenings festivities!!!! For those who are reserving a room and wish to extend the weekends play...a $5 per person BREAKFAST BUFFET has been added...and a $5 per person BBQ & SAND VOLLEYBALL has been added to the happenings!! The volleyball will start on SAT 08*09*08 immediately upon (late) check out time!!
More info to follow as confirmed, but so far we are talking ribs, burgers, dogs, chicken, and sides...stay tuned for info!

Who knows...Shell will do the best at making nametags offa the sign up sheet...the prob with that, is the real names are not always obvious or known. (The original glitter graphics in the post were removed for violating rules, as well!)

Cam...you're right! It was last August that Patrick (and I somehow ended up cohosting!) hosted the first party! While I have actually been here on the site for about 5 years...lol...it really was last August that most of us got into the parties and the GNO's! Cool! Happy Anniversary! :O) | |

I can't believe it has been that long already but that party that Kat and Patrick hosted was my first pof party.. that is when I met my friend Steve from KC..
So, there are probably a lot of us that will be celebrating our 1 year... wwwooo hhhoooo
it has been a very interesting journey for me this last year. I have met a lot of people from pof... good people, just no love connection like Cammie was blessed to do.. but that is ok.. I am having fun in the meantime and when it is meant to be it will be.
Kat.. thanks for hosting another party. I know it is a lot of work but I have yet to see one of your parties not be a total success.. it is your nitch girl. Thanks again. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. It has been a while since I have made it to a party.. this will be fun I am sure. | |

Amber....you make about the fifth August birthday, so far...so I imagine there is going to end up being quite a few Leos! ;O) Must be an internet thing...Leos drawn to it or something? LOL Though there were apparently quite a few June birthdays, as well!
Cammie...you asked about what we needed to decorate...let me get back to you and everyone on the exacts we are plannin' on...need to get together with my co-hostesses and yack about what the plans are!
Am also working on a contest of sorts...so we will definitely need a couple donations of prizes, as well. Anyone who can come up with a donation of gift certificates, a gift basket of sorts, etc...let one of the hosts know! :O) | |
