I like to reply everyone who messages me at POF but when I get mail like that I dunno what to say! I don't really wanna play along with the fantasies of 40 year old men... but I don't wanna be rude and not reply! Do guys actually think that's the best way to contact a woman??? Would any of you women, who are interested in serious relationships not just sex, go out with someone who contacted you like that before they said anything else or got to know you at all? | |

Posted: 6/6/2005 12:00:14 PM | My advice .... If anyone emails you and says something that would be inappropriate to say when meeting someone in a grocery store, library, church, or on the sidewalk, ignore them.
You don't owe them a reply any more than they felt that they didn't owe you respect.
Sometimes replying will only make it worse if you reject them anyway. Don't waste your time on people like that. | |

I would even debate replying to him. Cmon obviously in our profiles we make it clear what we are looking for and what we want...and I am sure out there somewhere there might be a woman that is looking for just sex they should go find her and write to them. Me I have never gotten any nasty emails on here but all the same if I was single and a guy in person or on here said something nasty to get my attention agh I dont think so! Theres more to life than sex, which should be something u share with someone u care about nothing something u do with ever Tom,Dick, and Harry!!  SOME boys are just dirty! LOL | |

Posted: 6/6/2005 12:05:18 PM | Don t waste your time. You will get tons of mails like this one, and if you want to be nice and polite about it you ll have no time to reply to normal people.
I suggest you write a short reply that you paste into a mail each time you need to reply to one of those losers. Then block them.
Or an even simpler eay is to delete all stupid or offensive mails and block the senders.
No need to be polite to someone who sends you a mail like that. | |
