Posted: 6/15/2008 4:10:30 PM | Hmm...I know a man who likes wearing a diaper and who pretty much enjoys what you describe in your post. He's also an intelligent and extremely successful young man and is "normal" (forgive me the use of that word) in every other way.
And while I admit I don't know much about fetishes as I don't seem to have any, I certainly do not judge people who do. My basic philosophy for pretty much everything in my life has always been to live and let live - harm no one - and to each their own.
Having said that, I do believe that it's important to inform a potential partner of anything about ourselves that might fall outside what's considered "normal"(oups here's that word again)
And yes I realize that many people might say...define "normal". Haha. Okay...for arguments sake and as an example, I will use something that I don't consider "normal " about me (even though it's common and it's normal to ME) that I feel any potential partner should know before getting involved with me.
I suffer from depression. I am not suicidal nor have I ever been suicidal. I don't have a personality disorder nor am I delusional. I don't even take any medication for my depression. It's something I'm slowly learning to manage on my own.
My depression manifests itself mainly by me becoming a little more philosophical and "heavy" than usual.
Sometimes, I see that some of my posts here reflects my "down time". In those times, I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders and I feel great sadness for us all...and I mean ALL of us...haha...for you too Mr. john. duke12:)
Anyway....even though this is normal for me as I've been this way all my life for as far as I can remember...I feel it's only fair that someone should be given fair warning that there's a part of me that falls "outside" what's considered "normal".
Did this make any sense or am I losing it completely?

which women probably just put down to men being dumb men and if youre lucky they may even be willing to indulge on your birthday
but dressing up as a baby isnt a vanilla fetish, its something that most women wouldnt get and probably be something that makes them think of you in a completely different light (and not in a good way)

So technically, this is not a fetish, it is a kink, just as bondage, s&m, roleplaying...etc, are all kinks. It is a behavior that is a turn on, not an object.
With any kink, its something that needs to be discussed with the person's partner. I'm pretty open-minded, but I wouldn't be into treating a man like an infant.
You say long term partner...I'm thinking if I'm with someone, this is definitely something they should be informing me about LONG before the relationship becomes long-term. Just springing it onto a long term partner all of a sudden would be a shock, to say the least. | |

Actually it can be a material object or a nonsexual part of the body, that arouses sexual desire and may become necessary for sexual gratification. Hence the phrase "Foot Fetish".

To me, it's no stranger than some of the other kinks/fetishes that have become topics of conversation. It's not something I'd be interested in ~ but I don't have to be a party to anything I don't wish to be. I certainly don't begrudge others their own space to do that which I would not be interested in. No one seems too alarmed with the whole Daddy/daughter thing ~ it's really just an extension of that in my mind. Like-minds are the key no matter what the kink is. JMO  | |
