Posted: 6/6/2005 2:01:58 PM | Hmm... something very depressing just happened. I joined this other dating site and basically pasted everything here on there -- except I failed to notice a 30kb restriction on photos. My photos were thus rejected.
I didn't know this for a long time and just found out today.
The funny (and sad) thing about it is that over the past couple days I've gotten a reply on a ton of messages I've sent - almost like 80% hit rate! - I didn't say anything or do anything different in my messages - though I admit all my messages are different to each person. But on this site and every other I've gotten a zero return rate!
How would you guys interpret this outcome? a few of the replies asked for pics.... haha And I though pics were supposed to improve your hit rate. Anyway, it's a sad day lol. | |

On another site, after a month of no luck with what I thought was a good picture, I started rotating them every few days. Got an avalanche of responses when I posted what I thought was a horrid pic. I asked a few ladies what they liked about the picture. They all said basically the same thing....It jumped out at me. Or it seemed to speak to me. So, you never can tell! Do a little experimenting and don't be afraid to use what you think are not-so-good pics. Like my man above said..a picture is not who you are. Just look at my pic for proof! | |
