| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 5:06:50 PM | | Just heard on CNN that Obama leads McCane substantially in a recent poll in Florida, Ohio AND Pennsylvania. In those same three states, those polled also voted AGAINST him having Hillary as a running mate. Great news. | |
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 5:54:30 PM | | What that poll done by the same company that had Kerry ahead of Bush in the exit polling in the last general election? | |
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 5:56:32 PM | | It seems that polls are the only thing you guys can win lately. Never mind real elections, got to win them polls!!!!! | |
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 6:07:36 PM | Nah, Kerry did lead Bush. . .
So did Gore for that matter.
Republicans are just better at stealing votes.
So, a good lead now is great, but we need a lead that is too big for them to STEAL the election again!!!
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 6:19:43 PM | If you can't win - say they stole it!!!!
When will you guys realize you live in a fantasy world???
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 6:24:43 PM | Gore WON Florida by well over 20,000 votes.
That wasn't an accident.
The only way Bush was able to secure that victory was to prevent the votes from being counted.
How proud you must be that victory at all costs is more important than Democracy. Congratulations!
For your information; Democracy is more imoportant to me than Victory.
I drove a coworker and friend named Gary, and a blind Friend named Russ to that election, or they would not have been able to vote. They both Voted for Bush, doubling my vote for Gore. Bush didn't win anything but an illigitimate decision by the SCOTUS. I am a man of principle. Blind faith is an evil concept!
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 6:37:13 PM | Isn't that the same Florida that CBS Anchorman Dan Rather called early - due to his blind wishful thinking? Wasn't he fired later for filing a false news report on Bush's National Guard duty? The blind leading the blind - they both fall into the ditch.
One should be careful about blindy following the liberal press.
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 6:46:18 PM | No he was fired because they couldn't prove the authenticity of a document that EVERYONE knows was true.
Bush was AWOL and was terminated from the National Guard. He was a Coward then and remains a coward today.
At least that is one difference between McSame and Bush, McSame wasn't a coward.
Too bad the country is in ruins from Bush! If McSame had won in 2000, perhaps 9/11 wouldn't have happened, perhaps he would have been a good president.
It is too late now, the country can't afford a poor decision again.
Fair election = Democratic LANDSLIDE for Obama!

| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 6:55:22 PM | You're not a very nice person are you? Do you have to be so mean spirited in every response?
As Bon Jovi would say; "Have a Nice Day!"
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 6:58:37 PM |
What that poll done by the same company that had Kerry ahead of Bush in the exit polling in the last general election? were you absent from class the day they found out that that whole election was rigged ?
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 7:02:25 PM | | Well, with all the democrats in the house and senate don't you think an investigation would have been conducted to prove the election was rigged? Quit believing in fairy tales and face reality for a change. | |
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 7:05:39 PM | I'm sorry, which illusion did I burst? The myth of the stolen election or the of the tooth fairy, sorry if I hurt your feelings.
This is a political debate forum right?
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 7:35:49 PM | | Exodus don't get too excited it's just a poll during election time and I think we'll see both candidates ahead at one time or another depending on what is reported in the media. | |
|

Yes! For once we agree on something, Bluesman.
Leave our dear Hillary out of the mess. I'm looking forward to her running in 2012 so she can get our country out the train wreck its currently in and will likely still be in by the time she is finally able to take over.

Frankly, I prefer that she run as an Independent candidate, especially after the low class treatment she received at the hands of the Democratic party, the DNC, and the liberal media. The only thing that I believe could make what she suffered worse, is if she actually agrees to be on the ticket with Barack Obama. Frankly, if she agrees to that, I'm going to believe she's lost her good sense and her marbles along with it.
Very few people seriously want Hillary to be the VP and that's fine with me. Those that hate her don't want her on the ticket and those that love her simply don't want her or her politics "infected" by Barack Obama. She's really too good for the Democrats. I only hope she's realized it by now.
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 8:34:39 PM | | Obama can have the polls. We will take the real election of McCain. | |
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 8:41:02 PM | this thread is pertinent because obama is ahead in the polls in the three key states that republican pundits claimed he couldn't carry.
ohio, pennsylvania, and florida. and he's leading by about 5 points in each state.
to add to this, polls also say that Americans wan democrats in the Congress as well and that they trust democrats more with the issues facing us today.
as for Republican stealing votes...what do you think the attorney general scandal was about? how do you think this all started? remember the attorney general who was fired for not investigating supposed democratic voting fraud? no of course you don't becuase you watch fox news.
the republicans have been successful at disqualifying democrat votes.
that's ok though...obama will fire the corrupt attorney generals and the republicans are already bracing for huge incumbent seat losses in the congress.

| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 8:43:04 PM | Too Funny!
Keep believing the lies and keep the rhetoric clowing. McSame has no chance.
McSame isn't even going to win in AZ!
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 8:43:29 PM | | I am terrified to think that people might still not know that the 2004 election was severely and blatantly rigged! If you don't know this you are one of two things a complete moron or a defender of the mass murders in Iraq ( meaning a bush supporter ) with no moral decency what so ever . which are you ? | |
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/18/2008 11:23:13 PM | Of course it was rigged and the ultra conservative Supreme Court (not terribly supreme at the time) stole the election for Bush. It made me ashamed to share the same profession with those crooked judges.
But, be that as it may, Obama will be our next president and the neocons here who can't live with it are urged to live elsewhere. They've patented the divisiveness and hatred they exhibit right here in this very forum but there's going to be no place for it next year.
I can't wait until the right wing really gets its hate campaign underway against Obama because the more mud they sling, the worse it will make them look. That's one of the things the American public is fed up with. So bring it on. The worse the better.
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/19/2008 3:42:19 AM | OP, I am a liberal in Florida. Don't count on Florida. It is caught in the religious wacko/family values flypaper glue. If Obama wins Florida, he will have already been a shoo in because he would take ALL other close states first. And the next meaningful polls will be two weeks after the conventions are done......then you have debates........a lot ahead. | |
|

They've patented the divisiveness and hatred they exhibit right here in this very forum but there's going to be no place for it next year. Nice to see the Obama supporters exemplifying Obamas alleged desire for unity...Not everyone who is not voting for Obama is a "Neo-con" , just like not every Obama supporters is a non thinking Liberal Socialist sycophant...If you truly have read the Forums you will note that most of the hatred, name calling and overall negativity has been expressed by the Liberals in regards to Bush, the Neo-cons and any other person who does not worship at the altar of Obama...

| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/19/2008 7:11:33 AM | "If you don't know this you are one of two things a complete moron or a defender of the mass murders in Iraq ( meaning a bush supporter ) with no moral decency what so ever"
Wow - you Obama supporters really believe in unity and keeping it civil - don't you.? Basically, if you don't agree with me than you're a moron or a mass murderer - wow! That's tolerance and acceptance!!!
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war is worse... A man who has nothing he cares more about than he does his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertion of better men than himself"
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/19/2008 9:00:35 AM | | I suppose this could reasonably be said about a man; hell I don't have much doubt we, as a country, have the killing part all figured out. How in the world is this even relevant when we know now we were 'lied into' the war and our sons and daughters are dying while billions are funneled to the rich? That's who's extorting you. How is this relevant when we're less safe now? Perhaps true patriotism would demand more of the United States of America than this....perhaps true patriots are more than a little nauseated when they hear this rhetoric over and over. Patriotism requires more than killing and much more than some appeal to the base and primitive. "When in doubt, KILL!" I would suggest that some of us have learned from this debacle and God knows, the world community has. Calling Democrats cowards because we see the fallacious manipulation behind the war is silly. | |
|
| Wow. Obama leads McCane Posted: 6/19/2008 1:44:57 PM | Please forgive me - but I can't follow the logic of your post.
I think history will show that Iraq is better off without Saddam Hussein. However, its already to late for the 1000's of his own people that he had killed by poisen gas. That and the free elections justified the war in Iraq - but of course you don't want to hear that - it conflicts with your world view that Bush is bad and America is horrible.
