Posted: 6/18/2008 6:47:06 PM | I've always wanted a long-lasting relationship, but because I've attempted meanwhile to contact some members with intimate encounters, I have been blocked out of at least HALF of some elegible candidats. Is there any way to "clear" my name and start from square one with ONLY Long-lasting relationship, without me starting another subscription (because I only use one email address).

This Filter has nothing to do with you changing your Mind, its based entirely on who or what you have been messaging. Its What you have done, not what you intend to do.

See ... and here you can witness the entire Viewpoint Spectrum why these Filters are enabled by some Users but not others.
You look at them as too closed minded and uptight, they look at you as a Playboy, not serious, indecisive nor very responsible.
You have Opinions of them, they have Opinions of you.
And these Opinions are based on Filter Implementations. What a perfect World, eh?

Because that User has not yet e-mailed enough Users who are looking for Intimate Encounters or Sex to have been busted by the IE Filter.
And will I now be branded and not be able to contact other users that have that filter set up?
The IE Filter does not affect the Recipient of any received E-Mail and only functions on a First Contact Messaging Basis, not by Replies.

Unfortunately I didn't see she was looking for an intimate encounter.
I am Australian, I just found an Australian woman living near by (10-15 mins away), went to message her, found out I was blocked, looked at her criteria, looked at mine, couldn't work it out. I then checked my outbox, found the message above (hasn't even been read by her) sent a couple of weeks ago.
SO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS THAT THE LOVE OF MY LIFE OR AT LEAST A MATE FROM HOME WILL NEVER KNOW ABOUT ME BECAUSE OF THIS ERROR. Come on, this is excessive, especially when you did nothing wrong, except not noticing 2 words in their profile, this is guilty before charged and something needs to be done, especially when you can prove you weren't out just to try and get a shag.

Think "favourites list" and searches.
What is unclear is if the OP is actually honest and not just another hoping to "sneak one by" whether or not the system "resets" after X period of time of displayed "good behaviour".
Also check other criteria. Once I thought a message to another forum junkie was why I was unable to mail a different poster.... closer inspection revealed I was just too old  . | |

I have checked all my filters which appear clear, my sent mail box, un surprisingly , is empty and I do not think it is an age issue.

That being said, I also think that with how simple it would be to program the IE filter, that it's highly unlikely anyone who claims to be "completely innocent" actually is. All you'd do is write a simple statment
when (DUDE sends message to DAME){
if(DAME's looking-for = IE or Activity Partner)
then DUDE's slut-finder-count goes up by 1
}
when (DUDE sends message to DAME2){
if (DAME's no-creeps = true and DUDE's slut-finder-count > 5)
then smack DUDE
}
I don't really see how a code that simple could mess up a tenth as often as I hear people claim it does... | |
