How many men would like help and advice when picking out clothes or a hairstyle from an honest but kind straight woman? It's something I love to do and wonder if I could make a business out of it. I'm really good at picking out flattering clothes for men and would love to do it for a living. Is this something that you guys would be interested in? Do you think there is a market for this?

Also, do pantylines on women really bother you? Or are the kind of a turn on?

Clothes help I could use ... hairstyle pretty much takes care of itself.

Might be a market for it with rich, older guys .. you don't mind putting out right? (jk)

I personally would not like help or advice, even though I know I need it. I also realize the need is social fashion conformity peer pressure. I feel that however I dress or style my hair it is me, represents me, comes from me. If I sought outside help then it would no longer be how I represent myself to the world. It would become how that person wants me to represent myself to the world. Therefore it would be a lie. If I smelled bad, or there was some health issue to what I was wearing, I would hope someone would mention it to me though. I probably wouldn't pay them to tell me I stink though.
That's just me, I am sure there is a market for this but you would be more successful in a large metropolitan area.

Pantylines on women do not bother me. They are kind of a turn on. But it depends on the size and age of the woman.

id love a woman to help me when shopping,
i have great taste but sometimes a female opinion would really help,
especially with shoes and jeans,
and when choosing a new hairstyle, its hardto imagine it on yourself so the outside view would be great,

Sure, I don't mind changing my beard on occasion, and I'll wear(almost) anything from the men's section of the LLBean catalog you like.

pantylines are a definite turn-on...

How many men would like help and advice when picking out clothes or a hairstyle from an honest but kind straight woman?

It depends on how good you are at it and how much it costs. I REALLY hate shopping for clothes. It would be great to have someone match things that I would dare to guess match nor have the patience to find. I usually rely on gay salesmen for dress clothes. (Yes, I lnow it's a stereotype, but it's proved to be reliable.)

It's something I love to do and wonder if I could make a business out of it. I'm really good at picking out flattering clothes for men and would love to do it for a living. Is this something that you guys would be interested in? Do you think there is a market for this?

Probably not for just advice, but you might find a market if you did things like purchase the clothing at the best prices. For example, I was looking for a pair of dress shoes and I found prices on the internet ranging from $400.00 - $500.00, which was less expensive still than retail. Some reasonable split of the difference between retail and the lowest price you could find the identical pair of shoes, might make you enough to make it worth your while and at the same time save your customer money.

Also, do pantylines on women really bother you? Or are the kind of a turn on?

Again, it depends. It doesn't look good if the outline looks like it's being squeezed through a pair of too-small pants. It does have some appeal if the outline is just noticeable through some light, slinky material..

Pay to get sh1t on? No thanks. Besides, when a woman cuts my hair and I tell her the way to cut it, she'll still cuts it too short.

The clothes? Take at look at me baby. Do I look like I need the help? Besides, my mom says I look good, which is usually backed up by my grandma. And my great-grandma calls me a "handsome boy." That's all I need to know.

This reminds me of an article I read in Men's Health about a writer employing a woman who finds 'dates' for professional men looking for LTR or marriage-minded women. After trying a few of her suggestions, he couldn't find anyone that he was able to click with. This lady responded to him that he was being "too picky."

And to completely stereotype here for a minute: considering a gender that tries on the same four black pumps for 2-4 hours for a friend's wedding in which they'll later toss off because they are too tight, this may not be the best line of work.

Panties? Doesn't really matter as long as they come off when you're wet.

(insert the 'you're an @sshole' comment here)

OP, I'm sure there's a market for it. I wouldn't be one of the customers, though. As to the last question, I have no idea.

Yes, please help me with my hairstyle ... I just washed my hair and I can't do a thing with it.

Panty lines are only a turn on when the panties are laying on the floor. Other then that, they rarely cross my mind unless they are so prevalent as to draw attention to them.

I'm not going to pay a consultant to tell me to shave my head and wear a bag over it.

The question about panty lines is interesting because it leads me to imagine a woman who does not wear panties, which I would know because she was also not wearing pants, and by then I have forgotten the question.

Sure... help me pick new clothes ...

But there will be limits on what I'll try on... so don't bother buying (or asking me to buy) something that is just going to hang in the closet for 20 years.

The hairstyle... again, within limits. Don't even suggest ANY color dye.

I would certainly need all the help I can get, but it depends on how much to pay for the service. These days budgets are tighter, it seems. It is a great idea though. Do you mean as in selling upcharged clothes or charging for advice and getting the clothes from any regular store?

When I am not sure, I ask a random woman nearby whether something looks OK on me. I get both a female and an objective opinion that way.

I like helpful advice from girls on clothing, as I'm not exactly an expert on clothes haha. But I wouldn't pay for it. I've got girl friends I can go to for advice on that if I need it. And yeah, I'm not into going shopping for hours on end, not my thing.

I don't mind help from the woman I'm with, but I wouldn't really seek it out from some random person trying to run a business that way. My reason, I like the clothes I wear, but if I can be more attractive to the person I'm with, I'm willing to give it a try (to an extent, clothes don't make a person, nor does hair - see next).
Hairstyle is also pretty subjective to each person's taste. I keep my hair short for a couple reasons, but if I was with someone who liked my hair being a bit longer, I could scrounge up the $10-20 to get a proper hair cut once I had it grown out again. But those are minor, unimportant comprimises I could make, because personally, if the person I'm with finds me more attractive that way, I'm not hung up on the way I dress or have my hair to say "I'm not changing that for anyone." Plus I like new clothes.

Edit : Pantylines, not really big on them, def not a turn on. If they are there than I know they are wearing them, not as provocative as not knowing for sure.

Pantylines...

Depends on the style of panties making the lines, why they're making the lines and what they're making the lines on...can go either way really.
Good is great and bad is "Holy Mary Mother of God there oughta be some kind of law against that".

Would I pay for a fashion consultant?
Hahahahahahaha!

Good one, lol.

Hehe.... I worked at a fetish store for a while. They had so many styles of leather pants and shirts and kilts and who knows what else. My favorite part was helping men figure out what went with what. But then again... I love a man in leather anytime. The people who owned the fetish store also owned a sex shop which specialized in stripper-wear, and a men's store. I was also blessed to be able to help customers on both stores.

OP: You may consider a job in a store like that or even a clothing boutique especially for men who offer this sort of service. Or hell, suggest it at local boutiques who may not offer that service already. You can pick up some experience.... and eventually branch out on your own.
