| Southern Ohio Motorcycle Ride~July 12th
Posted: 6/22/2008 5:47:40 PM | Continuing the 2008 Motorcycle Season with a ride July 12th!!!!!
This will be our 4th ride of the year. Each has been more fun than the last. 21 bikes at the Buckeye Lake ride. Let’s see if we can top that!!! You don’t want to miss this one!!!
Wingrydr has graciously agreed to lead this ride. Yep....we get to look at his butt the whole ride!!!!! He will help plan the route since it’s down in his neck of the woods.
When signing up for the ride, EMAIL me to let me know if you are a biker or passenger...if you can take a passenger....if you already have a passenger....or if you are looking for a ride. I will add you to the appropriate list. It is up to each person to find their own passenger or biker. I will list pairings as I get them.
BIKER AGENDA:
The starting point will be Jackson, Ohio for this run. UPDATE!!!!! We will be meeting at Walmart instead of Dairy Queen. Wal-Mart is at 100 Wal-Mart Drive Jackson, OH 45640. Departure time is 11:00am. Plan on meeting earlier so we can account for everyone and get riders and bikers all set up. We will take 124 to Pomeroy for sweet tater fries . Then 7 south along the river and a stop at Hog Haven in Gallipolis. Then continue south to Ironton and a stop at the Laidback . Then to the murals in Portsmouth. Then back towards Jackson.

If every one approves of the route then we'll call it official.We need to pick a spot to meet in Jackson. Any locals know a good spot? | |

I think we have a route! Those that don't like sweet tator fries will find something on the menu to eat.
I'm thinking as much fun as we have we should think about a camp out for the bikers after a ride one of these trips! | |

Posted: 6/23/2008 3:44:46 AM | OK guys......we're in business!!!! I posted Mike's route so it's now official. We need times and a definate starting point, so let me know what we're doing. I'll keep up on the postings and add stuff as it gets decided.
Remember to let me know if you can take a passenger or if you already have a rider so I can keep the lists updated. (I'm an organization freak!) The thread will get moved to the inbox screen when it get closer to the event date.
I know that Diesel, Goodwomen42, and myself need rides.....so start asking us guys!!!!! Don't make us hunt you down!!!!!! | |
