Hi, I'm interested in some opinions about how to improve my profile. I've tried to give a fun impression of myself, but who doesn't worry they've left some red flags that readers find off-putting? I hope you'll be gentle and positive!

thanks,

serottacsi959,

Your title states that you have no game, and I agree with it from what I gathered by skimming your profile. While you may be a dud when you first meet women, you can simply opt to not mention this major weakness. And given that you're on this website looking for a date, most women probably already assume this.

So if you remove how inept you are at meeting women, you just might be able to score a date. You'll only have half of a profile left, so you'll need to find more things to write about.

I think that your current first paragraph is a downer, so eliminate it and start off positively with your (current) 2nd paragraph that describes what you have to offer. Also eliminate the similar negative vibe near the end of your profile.

Since you seem to have a variety of interests, list more of them so that they can be searched by women looking for someone who enjoys some of the same things that they do.

Also, describe more qualities of the woman/women that you hope to meet.

Good luck!

If you wear a suit so well let's see a picture.

Remove all references to having no game. It come across more like an excuse for not giving the care and attention that things deserve. I also agree with the earlier post about removing the first paragraph. Above all you MUST give the impression that you respect yourself. State who you are without excuses.

So, the consensus is that the irony isn't working for me? OK, OK! I get the message! Any other thoughts out there?

thanks, g

OP, you may keep the "I have no game" line if you finish it with something clever.
"but I do have a strategy" leaps to mind.

Get a nice tight head shot for your main pic. Include a Me and My Ride one; let's see that Serotta (typed the gear head; clicked on my photos yet?). You can have up to eight pics, so do include the suit. The black doggie (??) on your shoulder under Le parasol is confusing and doesn't show up well in thumbnails.

Please delete every sentence or phrase that apologizes for yourself, gripes about how women ignore you, or otherwise describes what is happening now. Instead, write about what you would like to have happen. For instance, you list a couple of local places, but instead of painting a charming picture using those venues, you write "it's not likely to happen at these places." So pick some different ones! I bet you know a good patio cafe and a charming bookstore and a funky bike shop. List the places you can be found, not the ones of which you'll never darken the door.

You may borrow part of my headline if you wish.
