So its me again. Okay I have a question for everyone. When a person yuo dont talk to IM's you then how do you tell who it is without opening the IM. I have made tons of mistakes of either opening the messages or going to the profile view to see whos viewed me then go through each one and see if I can figure it out. Well I have been looking super stupid lately cause all of a sudden these guys are sending me messages etc saying about me looking at their profiles. So if anyone can help that would be great. THANKS A BUNCH!!!!

When a person yuo dont talk to IM's you then how do you tell who it is without opening the IM. Their "username" is in the top left hand corner of the IM, you need to look up their profile. I have made tons of mistakes of either opening the messages or going to the profile view to see whos viewed me then go through each one and see if I can figure it out. There is a "setting" that allows you to "hide" the fact that you looked at someones profile. Last but not least, this forum is for profile review ONLY. Did you want a review? Best wishes OFCB

OP if I were you I'd get rid of the IM fascility altogether. If someone is really interested in you they won't think twice about messaging you, and then you can decide in your own time what your impression is of them before you get back to them. As one of the other posters mentioned you can alter your message settings to not show that you have looked at someone's profile, and it's better than being bombarded with messages from men just because you have looked at them, and they like the look of you in a bikini.

Have a look in mail settings. You can change the im settings or whether you want users to show you have viewed them there. i am not a fan of IM either but mainly as it keeps stopping me from doing anything else every time a person spams. msn is a lot easier though at the same time like you know better to get to know someone first before you give it out.
