Home safe and sound after yet another great night in Derby. Though I'm not sure if it's because of the Meldrew-type character I am, I have to say I actually prefer it when we see less than a hundred folks in attendance. Seriously!
In my opinion, playing the numbers game is merely for those to whom it matters, and I'm certainly not one of them. Never have been, never will be. And I truly believe the majority of you lovely people will have noticed an even friendlier atmosphere than usual, if that's possible in our already friendly Derby.  I'm also sure you'll have witnessed for your good selves that the POF party spirit is certainly not dampened by a modest turnout.
On the contrary, the enjoyment factor and collective interaction was clearly enhanced for everyone, with the icing on the cake being arguably the highest number of pair-offs that I've seen at any POF party to date.
It was simply great to see so many ladies and gentlemen hooking up; testament to the likelihood that the smaller attendance pays optimum dividends when it comes to cupid's intervention and the potential for budding romance.  In these respects, our party had a fantastic feel about it this evening and I'd personally like to thank each and every one of you for contributing to the atmosphere by signing up and attending. In my experience, you truly are awesome and genuinely lovely people. 
Anyway, I've rambled enough for now. It's currently 5.00am GMT, and I'm tired and off to bed. Regarding the photos, as always, they'll follow in due course, which will hopefully mean I'll have 'em uploaded come Sunday evening.

Yet again another good night been to three now i think and they have all been good and i am always meeting new people and always a friendly atmosphere.
Met some lovely people who i hope will come and say hi if i havn't already said hi to them as i can't remember all the names . I do try lol old age

Thanks once again to the organisers great job. 
Each time I come to one of these do's I meet new friends, the Derby bunch are so warm and friendly. It's also to catch up with `old' friends mind you one person's blood pressure seemed to hit a high while he was `window shopping' LOL.
Anyone still unsure about attending a POF meet, just do it, honesty you will have fun and make some great friends.

Another great night in Derby ...... lots of people "pairing off ! " feel ilke Cilla !
Well just wanted to say sorry that *~*Sparkles*~* wasnt quite on form last night was feeling poorly and some of you will be pleased to know the voice has finally left the building , cant speak to day yeahhhhhhhh I hear some of you shout lol
But hope to have my Sparkle back by next Sat!
Anyway thank you to each and every one of you for making last night a success yet again ...and hope to see some of you next Sat at Halo in Nottm

Feeling a bit delicate today- hardly surprising really!
Really glad I made it last night - had a lovely time. Was good to chat to so many friendly people. I'm not going to try and name you all cos I would hate to miss anyone out but feel like I've made some lovely new friends.

And yet another very enjoyable evening was had by Pinballrik and myself in the company of great people and friends.
I totally agree with BB's opening post. the smaller the party the better the chance for more interaction between the male and female members and their guests. Even we noticed there were more members coupling off and getting to know each other a little better. I also noticed that even BB managed to chat more this time between his photo shoots. But i did feel quite sorry for our darling Sparkles who was suffering with a poorly throat. Hope you're feeling much better soon honey
But it was great to see you and Misheru again and you both looked gorgeous in your costumes.and not forgetting the lovely KLH. Haven't seen you for a couple of parties. was begining to think we'd lost you. but you were looking great.
Was also great to see the usual crowd again too:- Barberella and GrooveSpirit, Derbyminx, Clareelope,HazelRose, St Rob, Asupermum and ChynaBlu.
Hopefully we'll get chance to say hi to a few more people next time.
Hope the 2 birthday girls enjoyed their evening.
IF there's anyone i've missed out, particularly any newbies i've said hi to in passing, please forgive me but i'm crap at remembering names first time round . hope you all had a great night though and hopefully catch up with you next time round.

Gotta agree with Barbelbil's opening post as well, I'm not sure what the final count was, but the lower turnout on the night might actually have contributed towards it being a better party! So many people (myself included) do actually enjoy the friendly atmosphere and chance to chat that you get at the 'mini-meets', and this event was very much imbued with that kind of atmosphere.....very relaxed and enjoyable event, lots of people making new friends, and even a bit of romantic stuff going on I've been led to believe! 
Big shouts go out to Barbelbil for organising it, the management for being so good to us again, and to Sparkles and Misheru for being pretty amazing at looking after the newbies. Also big hugs to the lovely Barberella, just wouldn't be the same without you there! 
The meet addicts were there in good numbers.....Derbyminx, A Supermum, Anyjoy, Chrise68 and daughter in fab fancy dress, Clareelope, DerbrA09, DJDazz, Flirtastic, Klh123, Ladyjane10, MarieX and mates, Pinballrik & Pisces Baby, Rainy 24, Shimmers 4u and St Rob to name but a few.
Really good to have two great fun newbies with birthdays at the event, the fab Amanibaby (thanks for the chat) and party girl Natz86. Hope that you both enjoyed yourselves, made some good new friends, and that we'll see you both at a meet again soon. Also lovely to chat to Cheekyden and Jacqui Moore as well.

Well we were all treated to another great night out and hopefully some of the coupling' we noticed taking place will lead to longer term relationships for those involved!
A big thanks to all the usual suspects for making the night so enjoyable despite (because of!?) the lower numbers in evidence.
