I bought a 50" DLP with 3D now Samsung HL50A650 for $1.200 and I watched movies on my HD-DVD player and the movie was so sharp with HDMI 1.3 !!!

they say I can turn any DVD in to 3D this will be good for watching porn all I need now is 150.00 for the glasses and softwear and porn.

I may buy a PS3 hope it has 3D :)

Well, my guess is that after you get the equipment and the movies we're gonna miss you here at POF.

You can get shutter-glasses for around $30 that work on any display device, some even come with an extra pair.

But you can't make ANY movie 3D, the movie will require some means of marking depth or have to have two camera angles just an inch or two apart.

I think 3D is over rated and even hard on your eyes. I've had a Passive 3D Projector setup (two projectors), LCD Shutter Glasses (the common type) and Anaglyph Glasses (Red and Blue), I didn't feel any of these set ups where worth the head ache and the cost. I've since sold it all for a 2D 120" WUXGA setup.

I download shows to my computer useng tivoHD then hook my computer up to my HDTV with a HDMI cable so I can watch it in 3D on my HDTV.
