| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 7:35:20 PM | I do not have a picture on my profile as if someone is interested they can email me and ask me. someone istant message me and asked me for a picture and to describe myself. I told him eye color , dress size , height and weight, till he asked me about my bra size. for me that was a rude question from someone who does not even bother talking to me . My question , is this not a rude question and more important this person ended the conversation calling me a stupid and fat, Now has this ever happened to someone. | |

| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 7:50:27 PM | | Not me, but then I post recent pictures on my profile. I can't figure out why people don't post pictures in the first place. ...but that's JMO. | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 7:51:14 PM | I had a guy ask me what size clothes I wore and when I told him he said " well, you can do something about that" talk about rude!! | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 7:51:34 PM | | When they ask about the bra size you know they are only trolling for a quick fck . As soon as a man ask something like that turn off the im and don't accept anymore from him. He will try to convince you that he is not only after sex, but that's only part of their game. | |

| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 7:57:53 PM | | hey Tavisha, that is a very rude and crude as well as uneducated question. I am a very small person and have been asked if I even have any breast at all. Being the smart mouth that I am , I asked about length and circumference and never got an answer. Guys can't handle what they throw out, although they may ask, a lot of times it is just none of their business, till they get to know a little about personality and brains. It's like separating the wheat from the shaft, the cream from the milk. They are not even worth 10 minutes worth of being offended. | |

| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 8:07:41 PM | | I DO think that is a rude question. That's why I have lots of pics posted. I figure if a guy likes what they see, they'll contact me. If they don't, they don't know what they're missing!lol! Maybe you should post a few pics to avoid the "what do you look like?" emails. Just a thought. | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 8:10:22 PM | I believe the phrase is "separating the wheat from the chaff "
Just lettin ya know for future reference :)
(and I can understand about the breast size issue with us smaller ladies, too!)
| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 8:18:25 PM | Of course it is a rude question, and you already know it is!
Tavisha, don't let the rudeness of strangers get to you. In this medium, people are rude jsut because they don't have to look you in the eyes. Their rudeness is NOT your fault.

| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 8:26:26 PM | | He is no gentleman, no photo is your choice. I am the same. If I like someone and we seem to hit it off, then fine, otherwise name calling is rude and this guy is a jerk! | |

| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 8:33:07 PM | I hear that question a lot...and I have pictures on my profile. lol
I respond "what do you think?" After he is embarrassed from wrong guesses about sometihng seems he knows little about, he usually goes away. :P
| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 9:10:40 PM | I try to prevent those types of questions by having full body shots on my profile.
I love Alexy's take on answering the questions, though. I'll have to try that if anyone asks.
| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 9:58:07 PM | | I'll have to try that, too. | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 10:29:37 PM | Yep been asked heaps of times, even when they've seen several diff photos of me. It's very rude and to me shows their after one thing only .... you could turn around and ask for his errr 'measurements' lol | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/29/2008 10:30:21 PM | I've also been asked what size clothing I wear, and also what I weigh . . . so rude!!!! | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 12:51:23 AM | Of course the guy was rude like you were a piece of meat. But the way some women get burned so much by guys, they put up with a lot of crap.
You should just put up one photo though and stop the games IMHO. The first thing someone is always going to ask is if they can see you.
I think the rudest question I ever hear is ,"why are you single?". I mean what do the want me to say. "well, I'm very ugly like shrek, dumb, and can't hold a job. I guess thats it."
Any time anyone asks me why I'm single, I ask them the same question. Their response is always,"I guess that was a dumb question." Yes; it was.
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 1:28:37 AM | ^^^^ Or you can say "Just lucky, I guess"
Guys have asked me if I shave
| |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 1:45:37 AM | Whenever a guy im's me and starts to talk about my breast size. I ask him if he minds talking about how small his penis is. That gets rid of them real quick | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 1:49:45 AM | GUYS ARE STUPID, AND I REFUSE TO PUT A BODY SHOT UP, OH AND I HAVE A KNOCK OUT BODY BUT, IF THEY CAN'T DEAL WITH ME THEY LOOSE.AHAHAHHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAAHAHAH YOU WANT A REAL MAN NOT A PIMP OR EX-HUSBAND | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 2:20:01 AM | | It sounds fairly typical to me. He called you stupid and fat cause you shot him down and he's not used to it. | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 2:30:48 AM | | It is very rude for a guy to ask a woman about her clothes size. Any way you slice it there are a lot of rude & ignorant people out there......men and women. | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 3:02:31 AM | Maybe separating the wheat from the shaft is more appropriate in this case. | |
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 3:43:27 AM | Won't argue that your IM was rude asking such questions.
But it does raise the bigger issue, which may have already been discussed elsewhere on this forum, why do people not post pics? If a person is seriously putting themselves out there to find a match, it's very difficult to gauge whether a person without a pic may be interesting or not - after all, we are all people who make visual judgments as well as going by what is written.
Perhaps we could have something similar to what another site such as this has and enable a person to lock viewing pics by a password, and then offer the password selectively, if privacy is a concern.
I have got to the stage of not responding to messages that have no pics, after getting abused for saying thanks but no thanks after seeing a pic. May sound a callous act on my part, but if there is not a spark of interest after seeing a pic, what else do you say or do?
| Rude questions Posted: 6/30/2008 4:13:10 AM | Hi tavisha, If YOU think that a question is rude, then it is rude to you and don't answer it. | |
