Posted: 6/30/2008 8:44:16 PM | I think my profile needs alot of help. It just doesn’t seem to be working. Early on it was suggested that I didn’t have enough information there. Now tonight, I was told that it just kind of lays there even with the amount of information that is there. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

Plain and simple: You're too negative, man...
Your headline.. Tired of Fishing.. Negative.
You're entire first paragraphs is essentially asking if all women are crazy. Negative
Ask yourself, would you want to step into someone that is that negative. Turn it around. Make it pop. You say you like to dream big, so DREAM BIG in your profile. What are you dreaming about? What kind of lady gets to you?
It's not about owning your own home or passing background checks, its about opening yourself up in a way that is approachable to a woman. What drives you? What make you tick? How are you vulnerable?
Life's too short to be miserable... Totally true, so put your money where your mouth is and back it up in your profile.

Posted: 7/4/2008 10:39:29 AM | OP, whatever changes were suggested (I didn't see your profile beforehand) you obviously took the advice given to heart. If it was half as negative as the previous poster suggested, you've made it and you much more approachable. Sometimes I've been afraid to suggest it (because some people's humour isn't as funny as they think it is) but you could always give the reader a sample of yours. Give your profile a bit more sense of fun.....
