Posted: 7/1/2008 6:45:31 AM | Dr Massaru Emotto is a Japanese researcher who began investigating the properties of water from different locations on earth to discover how it is effected by various conditions. In 1991, he and his staff began freezing water samples and observing the resultant ice crystals under a microscope. He published the results of his work in several books, one of which is MESSAGE from WAter. He was able to photograph and demonstrate how pollution affects the health of water. This in itself is not too surprising. However, the astounding discovery he made was that water picks up the consciousness of people arond it, it has capacity for memory.
Pure natual water, when frozen, has beautiful and completely formed ice crystals similar to those of a snowflake. As it becomes polluted, the ice crystals become increasingly deformed and fractured. They look unhealthy. Dr Emoto found that enviromental pollution is not the only thing that affects the structue of water. He has PROVEN, through THOUSANDS of photographs, that words spoken to water, or even writte and placed on a water container, clearly change the structure of the water as reflected by the ice crystals formed from it. Harsh words like "YOU FOOL" or, "YOU MAKE ME SICK" or, "I will KILL YOU" render the ice crystals incapable of forming in an organized manner. On the other hand, positive uplifting words such as "LOVE" and "THANK YOU" result in crystals as beautiful as the finest pieces of jewlery. Opposite words such as "ANGEL" and "DEVIL", "SOUL" and "DEMON", "LETS DO IT" and "DO IT" Showed the same results of organization versus disorganization. Similarly, sounds from different music selections of folk and classical versus heavy metal did the same.
The researchers then experimented with prayer. Water that was spoken to consciously in prayer, blessing, or appreciation invariably resulted in organized, healthy and alive looking ice crystals. Is it any wonder that most religions of the world have practises of blessing their food before eating it? We may have thought of this as simply a religious ritual, but the positive effects of giving thanks and blessing food(expressing love to it) are now clearly obserable from a scientific viewpoint. It is also explains why plants that are spoken to with words of love, encouragement, and appreciation, grow better.
Since our own bodies are about 70 to 75% water, and the air aruond us contains water vapour, this would mean that our thoughts and words determine the quality of the water molecules making up our bodies, food and air. The emotions we choose to have and to express, plus those of others around us, are picked up by water molecules and become part of us for etiher harmony or disharmony, psychologically and pysiologically.
As Dr Emoto put it, "Water is a mirror reflecting our minds." Its takes on the consciousness of individuals as well as that of groups around it, and ultimately, that of the world population. As we ingest the resulting waters through eating, drinking, and breathing we are affected either positively or negatively.

It makes me rethink the negative energy I put out toward people I disagree with, like Bush. It also reaffirms a Buddhist philosophy that encourages us to approach life with mindfulness and loving-kindness. I wonder if the increasing chaos and violence in the world is partly fueled by those who feed it purposefully (Bush, et al) and by those of us who oppose what we see from a spirit of disharmony and anger. I haven't been able to shift out of this paradigm yet, but I am trying. The images of the water crystals being affected by thoughts and written words is a powerful message to us all to be mindful of how we use our energy in the world. I think I'll pause and bless the cup of tea I am drinking now! | |

If it were true that writing certain words on a container affect the molecular structure of the water within, then we would all be affected by words of a language that we don't even understand. Do people feel a reaction in their body by reading a foreign language like Chinese (if they don't understand Chinese, I mean)? I don't.
There is still merit in sending out messages of love and compassion to all living things. Just makes living that much nicer. | |

Doesn't that imply that water understands and reacts to the English language? How is it that water can show an understanding of a human construct? And if I wrote "Dirty" on 20 jars of ice, shouldn't all the jars be identical in shape and structure? | |

Believe me, they are truly more ignorant then that which they profess to be of, apes/monkeys. Who, by the way, pee and poop in the water they drink but do not understand.
They are however, well equipped through nature/IT to deal with the reality as, their cause and effect is not truly to destroy nature and earth, debasing and destruction is however, within those who spew insult and rhetoric within every breathe and with every letter typed.
These things pee/poop and more and then expect a new corps(e) to rescue them and all others from the ignorance they worship when it is found to be ignorance and non-beneficial.
This is why it is easy to spot those who are enemy to you and nature, they are forever ignorant and always defending egos/dogmas of others that they worship and earn material gain through, they are simpletons with lies, nothing more, let them be what they are non-living and a disease to mankind if you take anything they say to heart.

In 2006, Emoto published a paper together with Dean Radin and others in the peer-reviewed Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing, in which they claim to have proven in a double blind test that approximately 2000 people in Tokyo could increase the aesthetic appeal of water stored in a room in California, compared to water in another room, solely through their positive intentions
I'm still ever the skeptic, but it should be an interesting one to keep an eye on. | |

I mean there is alot of energy in hate and anger. There is good energy with postiive words and love, affection. If you really think about it alot of people bless the food before they and and bless the water, call if HOLY water.

The effect of impurities on crystalization has been known for a long time now. We use this phenomenon when we pour salt on ice and snow to melt it. The water is not reacting to a stimulus, merely following the laws of physics.
This thread is full of new-agey incorrect views of physics. All I can say to those people is open a book. No, wait, open a physics book, not a water memory book. What a pile! | |

While Explore *is* a peer-reviewed journal ON PAPER, it's only because they've "dumbed-down" the pool of what they consider "peer." It's not actually reviewed critically or scientifically by physicians or scientists, it's reviewed by New Age Healers and such. Not that there's anything wrong with New Age Healers, it's just that none of them are physicians or scientists in an accredited field, etc... I wouldn't expect any mainstream physicians to be publishing their research in that particular journal.
The "research" is not critically reviewed, and again, can't be duplicated; hence, it's just an amusing fraud. | |

More importantly, they at least used the scientific method in this set of research, if by no other means than performing a statistical analysis. Compare this with his previous work, which was simply a cherry picking exercise of the most aesthetically pleasing photos.
You know sometimes I think I'll argue anything
I will be interested to see whether someone refutes these findings in another standard medical journal. It could be those in real medicine won't waste their time even trying, but if you find such an example, let me know. | |

The name or word or thoughts associated to the product gives no essence nor anything to the Water nor to those who consume it along with the other additives they include to give water a new identity and new name.
Obviously, if it is pristine water, it can only be called water, not Perrier or other corps(e) related term.
But wait, does naming it something other then it is and owning the name/word bring a lot of wealth and riches to those who are shareholders and employees who live and earn through placing a word on a container with water in it?
Man that word Perrier on the bottle sure gave a lot of people a lot of wealth and a daily purpose so as to be a part of life. If it is Perrier, it is not water, it is Perrier.
So I guess, if you pollute pristine water, it is no longer water, what would the title be or word that we can name the liquid that man debases for sake of the things he names and gives purpose to?
What about Holy Water? Is it pristine or is it Perrier? Do the churches recommend that Holy be change to Perrier or maybe another name that will give power to something or someone else?
People, those who live a lie and guard lies, promote lies and foolish living, being in life without true purpose other then to waste, debase, argue and exchange opinions and assumptions so as to cause unrest and indifference within society and within the conscience of the world.
Man is 97% water, 3% ignorance and that 3% has to communicate with the world and nature differently then the 97% which has a purpose and intelligence which ego and fools can not comprehend.
Plants and animals and other life forms communicate differently then man and they receive from us but we can not receive from them because, for the most part, our being is so filled with rhetoric and lies, we are programming ourselves, with the help of peons and fools, to completely negate our link with nature and be in tune with machines and material that is named and given purpose by those who are dead and enemies of man and nature.
Ego is not of the 97%, that which is true and with purpose but within the 3% lies ego and other tools which are being manipulated for change of false riches and control of an illusion that is ultimately a trap for those without IT as, they are debasing themselves and becoming a higher ratio of ego and all that is false and lowering the 97% pristine water that comes when one is born into this realm.
Keep drinking up egos, keep eating up from the menu of fake or fiat food offered to the living by corps(e) and those who traded their spirit for hares in the false riches and wealth that the corps(e) could a-mass during their rampage upon earth.
Today, the Goliaths of old are reborn as corporations, corps(e), non-living entity which lives to take and has only want for more, this is in their articles of incorporation and if the corps(e) is not deceiving and cheating to the best of it's ability, it is dissolved, made back into nothing.
Maybe Perrier should put out water exclusively for those who are less then 97% water, Water-Lite, it can include all that wonderful waste that other corps(e) trade us for resources and our essentials which allow the spirit of mankind to experience nature in the flesh.
Those who are less then 97% water are easy to spot and you can watch the transformation as they keep living to increase that 3% for sake of that which they worship and sacrifice to, amusement, idol time and corps(e).
In the end, the mechanism that is perfect within nature, will erase those who are not 97% water and even give residual and bonus payments of that which is waste to those who have abetted the vampiring of nature and man.
So many believe so many illusions and fantasy stories of the past, they grab on to the parts that are ego and not spirit, the can not see the wisdom within parables, instead, they argue over the characters, the shells that hold the spirit.
Truthfully, we are all what we eat and what we drink and what we think and this is why so many are not truly alive and are turning into animal-machines in lieu of human-beings as, all they do they do for material and for corps(e), all those who promote false purpose and false names, they are not working in conjunction with nature nor man but working to debase and destroy it for sake of want of material gain.
All that comes through nature is free and shared by all man, beast and life, we are to live not to die and rest in peace, to live in struggle so as to rest in peace? We are to witness and celebrate and grow in wisdom but this is njot wanted by corps(e).
This is what is advertised and believed by the ignorant who live to amass things, to won stuff and to command others and it is false life and false purpose.
All we know for sure is that IN THE was before the BEGINNING, IN THE is action (IN) and place (THE), take action, put IN into THE, you have THINE.
You have been born to seek IT, is is not in IN nor is IT in THE, but IT is within THINE. Now you come to BEGINNING, know and hold true that everything after THE is opinion and assumption, lies and tricks meant to cause you to live to struggle and then rest in peace. After BEGINNING came materialism and superficial ideal and the desire to name that which came after THE.
Do yourself a favor, watch The Corporation on Google Video & learn of the work of fools who send young men to war who eventually fill body bags while those who live through the stealth of a corps(e), fill their pockets and the pockets of the other vampires, with riches and wealth gotten at the lose of ignorant and innocent.
With all that has transpired within your life you must see the idiocy in trying to duplicate nature and give man false purpose through the promotion of ignorance and living life and false purpose of being born to serve machines, material and corps(e).
So many are destined for so much pain and so much horrendous things as they have chosen to speak not with nature and all that is cause and effect, but they chose to scream obscenities at nature and all that is true all the while, taking ownership of things and stuff that are poison to the spirit and poison to nature .
So many neglect to learn about living prior to materialism being a worldwide trap, there were many who still could communicate with all that is around us and within us that we share with nature and spirit.
Those people and their teachings, their wisdom which came from spirit, not ego, have been dissolved, much like a corps(e) that no longer serves it purpose of debasing nature and man for sake of those who do nothing more then life to be lies.
Those without IT will not appreciate nor heed the words I have offered. I have no use for lies nor liars as, they are like pollution to the water to my spirit.
People better get back to trying to live and communicate properly, give up on those and their schemes which are to take from you for sale of their want and inability to accept truth and be friend not fiend to all that are here.
Move away from corporate entities that steal from your town, give you pollution and strife for and amusement in exchange for your riches, your potential and your spirit.
Support local people who support the city, who have heritage and history within your community. No longer support that which takes and always wants more.
The earth will take seeds, you can plant as much as you like, it will come back and you will have lots to share as the earth does.
The corps(e) which to create fiat food, cloned meat and worse.
They add chemicals, factory waste and other things and stuff meant to harm you.
Industry and commercialism does not see individuals, it sees niche markets which are consumers. Stop being a consumer of lies and egos.
That which they name is not real and it is detrimental to those who consume it as, the it in it is not IT.
Be safe and keep drinking the water that feeds egos and soulless people who are nil more then want and take and hate and destruction.
Live life for real not for sake of abetting corps(e) to rule over mankind and earth, they only know destruction and deception and they have no integrity towards the earth or man which is attested in that they name and falsely believe they own things because they named it.
ADAM knew better as did ABLE but CAIN had new uses for material and his ego did not enjoy competition but then many get lost in debate & argue over egos and other notations which are to be lesson for the ignorant looking for IT.
They, animal-machines, work to distract ignorant from truth as much that is taken as truth is that which is not essential, they look to attach to ego and names given to ego and material by those who wish to control and exploit all man and earth.
Men go to war over "What came first, The Chicken or the Egg?" It was THE and everything after THE is an opinion!
Now at least you have one truth that is not assumption within your being if you can accept fact on your own.
So many have no truth within as they are simply put, walking talking counterdictions of themselves waiting for new opinions and new assumptions to consider or attack or defend, they are merely walking talking polluted meat that serve materialism, superficiality and machines.
Remember JD Rockefeller said, "Competition is a sin" and he lived to amass great wealth through monopolies and the family got power/influence through bribery/blackmail and murder, at the expense of truth, mankind and nature, as did and as do those who are of the same cloth or better put, nylon as truth and what is real is far removed from any of the elitists and their legion of spiritless peons and puppets.
If you realize, Rockefeller, like his descendants, live with aliases and amass wealth in corps(e) and foundations (not the foundation you are to build upon, a rock, they are on sand/lies) as the family name changed just like Bauer changed to Rothschild as they believe they are anew ego which came with the name but are still tied to all that has and does debases/destroys innocents.
To this day, their lack of IT is challenging life/nature on earth because their egos want to control the illusion that gives them their imaginary lifestyle they have invented/created so as to oppress/keep truth away from the ignorant who are the true power and who just in living right, make the illusion shared but soulless elites disappear.
Even the famous amongst ego worshipers, Donald Trump (his family got wealthy through prostitution during the gold rush days) has his own line of water product which is ridiculous as his corporate agenda and actions ruin water where they set-up to steal riches and wealth from ego worshipers. But then, he is like all corporatist fascists as to gain more wealth, they go to where it is pristine and take ownership of nature through bribery/blackmail and worse, so as to place the name of his corps(e) on IT and not even add anything only take it for want of what fools will trade for ego.
So ignorant fools, keep up with your regular worshiping of TV and fiat people. Make sure to applaud those who pretend to be something else for a living.
Be in awe of those who live to amuse those who wish to be amused, who work, worry and question all that is real and believe the fantasies offered by those who wish you to give them your riches for sake of ignorance and false purposes.
Your actions and intent will see you walk down a very wide path with many others just like you.
Do not seek that narrow path, their are no opinions, no assumptions and no machines to guide you, you would get lost and need water but their would no water wanting to be with you on the path, you would debase IT with the pollution and the lies you carry.
Drink up your bottles of Ego and eat those assumptions and delight in those opinions, they are all quite becoming on the wide and welcoming path, many signs and many employees to help you along the way, you can buy T-shirts and other souvenirs but remember, the path you are on gets really hot so maybe remember to dress right for the party and the ceremoney they have.
Those true to life will celebrate/vibrate which is free and knows no bounds, their is no restriction to celebrate but your wonderful ceremoney comes at a cost and includes many opinions, assumptions and souvenirs which you can buy. But don't drink their Holy Water, IT is not within it.

OP in that article it also states prayer and meditation can change the structure of water. Falun Gung a buddhist cultivation system uses positive thoughts with meditation to change the structure of the cells and it's water.
There are hundred of thousands of of testimonies if not millions.

When I request a peer-reviewed journal I'm asking for a credible source. Explore is a front set up by junk scientists in order to give the appearance of credibility, no better than the Discovery institute which hands out Phd.s as fast as they can print them to religious whack jobs. | |
