| Canadaville..good or bad?
Posted: 7/1/2008 1:27:34 PM | Let me start by saying i live in B.C. Canada ...... and have never been in the southern states.
I just saw a documentry on Canadaville .... the town a large company from Canada is trying to build to help victimes of Katerina...... the doc showed both sides to the story , but i think it was over a year old when it was filmed .
What im wondering is ...How is it going there?.....Is everyone getting along?......Is there alot of racial tention?..... Did they ever get that big farm going ?
I live in a very small town as well, 3000 ppl , and i belive if someone was trying to help others in need our town would welcome them with open arms .....this being said however , how can you force ppl that have lived in the city there whole lifes to start becoming farmers?...im going to assume there are not alot of jobs there in simmsport ( i think thats the name of the other town)?
And what happends after the 5 years of free rent is up ?
One thing i did notice in the doc , was the children ..... and how they got along so well with e/o , regardless of where they came from .
Any info on how things are going would be great .
