Once he lied to get out of a date with me and the next time I spoke with him he made an amends and told me he lied becuase he got scared. We had another fantstic night after that. He text me and tells me he thinks about me but has not contacted me in several days. What gives, I really like him when we are together we are an amazing fit. | |

If there are things that are bothering you....communicate your feelings and concerns by having a discussion with HIM. Don't act as if you are powerless by sitting around waiting for him to call you. Be true to yourself and become actively involved in things that affect you because this is YOUR life! If there are certain things which are missing, identify what they are and have an open dialog.
What gives is that you are sitting on a bench waiting for things to happen. Make your move !

if you were looking for any meaningful tactics to employ to make a guy fall in love with you, I can only speak for myself. She'd have to be pretty, probably slightly flawed, no barbie doll types (although they are fun), warm, good natured, and we'd have to find the same type of things funny (so she's reasonably smart). Oh yeah, and she adores me. A sense you have requitted feelings are a major turnoff - really take the fun out of the whole enfactuation process. | |

The thought just occured to me. You look great. But I'm afraid he may really be hoping to find someone younger than him . Many men want a woman a few years younger than them. Me - i'm into the half age theory. I think the 2 to 1 age ratio for a man to a woman is perfect and has a celestial resonace that will bring the ulimate happiness and joy .

Well, first, he has to have a desire to fall in love. If he isn't ready to open himself up to everything that comes with it, then he ain't gonna. But if he's strong enough to open himself up, then he has to find a woman who offers what he doesn't have...as well as what he wants to share.
As for your guy, he's just like anyone else--there's no reason why he should fix what isn't broken. His relationship with you, isn't broken for him...hasn't been for several months, to quote you. He gets sex, with a partner he shares a lot with. He's getting what he wants, b/c if he wasn't, then the relationship would be broken, and he'd have to fix it.
I'm sorry, but just b/c you feel so strongly for it, doesn't translate into making reality any different. You may feel the power, but it doesn't transfer to anyone or anything else, it exists only with you. | |

Trust is a big thing for guys, yes he did lie but he obviously can't really trust you. If you like him enough I guess you can back off a little. what makes you as a man choose the car?
1. A comfortable price
2. A comfortable negotiating ending with a solid handshake and smile.
3. That general feeling that my words were taken in earnest, my concerns met, my opinion received with attention and offers made with respect.
4. The price is only one aspect---the "deal" is about a positive experience that allows you to transition from one state to the next without stress.
Apply this to a relationship.
1. She doesn't beg for gifts/money
2. Dating is easy, not a game of phone-tag, 20 questions, or "I'll call you AFTER my friend calls me--maybe--if I remember."
3. She doesn't ask the same question every day. She doesn't ask the same question three times in a row looking for an answer she likes better than the first.
4. You become her boyfriend when you are ready, not because she "announced" it to all her friends, not because she badgered you about the term on every phone call after the 3rd date.
The sleazy answer: If she swallows 3 loads in a row without gagging, that oughta do it.

The main 2 problems I think women have is:
1. They flat out dont communicate directly with their man; they will ask everyone but him to see what they think he's thinking
2. They listen to a mans words, and dont look at his actions.
Love is action. Straight up. Whenever a woman says, "he had a great time; he loved it." how do you know?
Another warning is "Well he said..." again, who cares what he says.
Look at his actions. He ignores you for a few days and lied once to get out of a date. A guy doesn't do that to someone he is exclusive too.
Again, actions speak louder than words. | |
