Moved to Calgary, lived here till I was about 5-6, then we moved to Nanaimo until I was about 9-10, then moved back to Calgary again.
Been here ever since. I kinda consider myself a native, I've lived in this city most of my life.
Would love to go back to the island though... or somewhere where it's not so 'busy'. | |

Have lived in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta (for the last 39 years with the exception of 19 months).
Would not go back to either Ontario or B.C. to live, but they are both okay to visit for a short period. | |

Both parents are from Alberta, the Crowsnest Pass region. I consider myself an anomaly because I'm a native Albertan without a single farmer in the family. Both my grandfathers and at least one great-grandfather were coal miners and one uncle still is. | |

Although it bothered me when I first heard someone here say "The centre of the universe" in reference to Southern Ontario...upon minimal thought and pondering...they are right...it truly IS the center of the Canadian universe!...hehehe | |
