Posted: 7/2/2008 11:32:10 PM | | Ok, i have been looking through the arkansas forums and what not....where are all the younger people around the ages of 18-30??? I'm curious as to why I seem to be on of the few, and the others that are of that age only seem to males? Is it a lonely world or what? Sorry just kinda felt like ranting about this lol. But anways im from Conway and doesnt seem like many are. So ya..... Any comments? | |

All the young people at your age are busy texting their friends from college and high school.
They don't need to be on the web looking for love or lust or whatever.
They have plenty of opportunities to get know others in class, student unions, frats, bars, etc.
That's especially true in conway with THREE colleges: UCA, Hendrix and Ark. baptist or something like that.
You might want to Read Ben Franklin's Advice to a Young Man if you can't find any ladies your age ! ha ha | |

Posted: 7/4/2008 11:51:18 AM | Man, I know what you're saying, I'm 27 and live in Conway too. I can find women from all over the state in our age group except in Conway and Little Rock on here and other sites. This one is by far the best for our area though.
Most of the women our age on here aren't the type I want anyway. Most of em have 3 kids and are lookin for a baby daddy, drug problems, or all kinds of other issues.
Hint, if 420, sex, drinking, or partying are some of your key words, you're NOT going to get a quality man. lol. | |

I realize I am 51 but I am alot of fun still and I have my own kids in that age bracket you were asking about.. so I have an idea of what that age enjoys and what us "older" youngsters like. Be patient.. and you could help out and plan something.. the location the parties are being held at now has always been known to attract an older crowd, but we did have fun last time.. although some of the younger ones did not stay as long.
Keep in touch and we will find something for you younger ones as well. | |

Posted: 7/12/2008 11:21:35 AM | You kno I'm beginning to wonder about the guys in my age range as well. I have found that most of them simply want to get laid and have no desire of actually form a decent relationship.
Now that being said, glock, don't push away a person with children. There are PLENTY of them out there who don't need "baby daddy" and are more than capable of making it on thier own without a man. | |

Posted: 7/12/2008 1:51:42 PM | If a woman has 3 kids, it doesn't really matter if she's looking for a baby daddy or not, that's to much for me to take on. Some guys can handle that, I can't. Yep, I'm limiting myself, I know, but so would be becoming a stepdad to 3 kids. Yes, I'm a prick lol
edit: The reason I say so is because my full time job has me home only 45 weekends a year, and maybe 12 -24 weekdays. On top of that, I go to about 6 schools a year, ranging from a weekend in Memphis, to a week in Arizona. These are fairly well planned out in advance, but my second job is no notice at all and can keep me gone a month or more. It can quite literally be me heading to work on a Monday morning, getting a call out, running back to the house and loading my gear and being gone a week to 6 weeks. Not exactly a great father figure, much less boyfriend or husband. | |

But when a woman says she has kids, and:
I need to get rid of my firebird because that's not a good family car (I also own a ford explorer, but they don't need to know that yet, helps weed the controlling ones out)
Or that I need to get rid of my guns. (for the children)
Or they constantly ask about my job and how much money I make.
Or they come straight out and ask how I feel about raising their kids
That's not all women of course, but it's most on here lol | |
