I had a quick peek and to be honest I could hardly understand what you were saying. I know you want to be your self and perhaps type the way you speak but I don't think it comes across very well. You pics are great, but you need to clean up your profile a bit. Clear complete sentences, proper grammer and spelling. I look at a profile as you trying to sell yourself so to speak. So you would want to leave the best impression right?

i got the impression by your profile that you are a WEIRDO, PERV N SWINGER so not quite sure about saying no to them on your profile.
Also your humour comes across as you like to laugh while watching a group of men stab someone to death than just laugh at an episode of the Simpsons with the Special needs joke.
Not needed on a profile and will put many ppl off.

You need more interests; these show up in searches so are to your advantage.
The about me section is not very good; instead of the *special needs* put down, try to use this space to tell us something about yourself. Portray a positive image; always a winner.
I don't think the 2nd and 3rd photograph are in regulations with those set forth by pof guidelines; might want to check into that.
The first date is a wash; think of a unique idea and go with it. Make the reader want to go on that date with you.

Speaking of age, your photos are not very flattering, especially some of the more extreme closeups. They add a decade to your looks.
The pics of your motorcyle should have YOU in them, or, as the previous reviewer said, they're in violation of picture posting rules. Same with the one with your face covered by a helmet. If it's not recognizably you, it shouldn't be on your profile.
You say you're a "mental health carer," then make that tasteless joke about the government killing mentally-ill people? Consider a change of vocation. | |

Posted: 7/5/2008 4:35:52 PM | To be serious i think the profile will work well for you, though the spelling mistakes and saying you are a no brainer will open you up for the paedo belly sex chat people, asking for naked webcam etc or players that will pretend to like you with the goal for one thing only.
If you can decipher your way through all that then you will be fine, though at the same time the other half of pof will probably run a mile as there is nothing symbollic to say you are romantic or what not. You just sell yourself as a rough biker that comes out with special needs jokes and has pictures that make yourself look like you are a stoner and go to pagan rituals calling yourself names such as "Auntie Yew Stick the white witch"
At the same time each personality is different and reading your profile again I am sure there is someone out there for you with the same interests. Since you work with people with special needs i am sure you have to have a laugh about it all and English humour is one of the most narky humours out there so I can understand it. Same for porters in hospitals that make jokes about dead people a lot, everyone has their way of dealing with things etc but on a profile is it really sensible? Especially as there are a few special needs people on POF.
What is funny to one person is bullying to another. In a lot of sense that is what makes comedy comedy. For a group to laugh at one person it seems justified and funny but people forget it is that one person that has to take the brunt of what that group is saying which is why i think some of your comments are better off kept between your friends and not on POF.
There may be a lot of people on here dating with special needs children for all you know. Taking the mick out of chavs, druggies and what not you know they will get over it but certain subjects are a bit tricky and more deep hence some of the replies you have had on here. i am no angel i joke about the same kind of things i will be honest, but there is a time and a place for such things.
