What if there were certain areas cordoned off for paying members only - leaving the non payers out would you be happy to continue using it?
Do you think those who pay to use dating sites are more serious about actually meeting someone, where as free sites just attract people who want to use the forums and chat rooms? | |

I think on a site you have to fork out for you will meet ppl who really do want to find their dream partner whereas on free sites its just a big fookfest.......
I mean i could be wrong but thats how i see it.
I;m really not sure id pay for this site as i have my moments where i just cant be bothered with it or other sites | |

I don't think there is any difference in attitude at all between pay and non-pay. Twats will be twats no matter what. And lets face it, if the palyers get a shag a week for £30 a month its bloody cheap compared with a lady of negociable virtue.
I won't go on a pay site again, not even if I was single, and Fish will never be a pay site so we are safe. | |

Revolution stirred and posts were flying everywhere... It proved that people loved the forum aspect more that the dating aspect of the site...
Would I pay to use this forum?.. nahhhhh plenty more where this comes from. I just choose to use this one becuase of the layout I suppose.. | |

I don't see why a paying site gives better results. Maybe those who use them weren't aware of these free sites and just joined the well-known sites?
Met my current bloke at a local over-30s night. He was (and still is) on Dating Direct. Obviously hadn't found what he was looking for on there, same as me on here.
(Edit - yes, msg 12, he's still on there, tho apparently no longer a current paying member - has just left his profile on - good reasons for that) | |

The subtopic of pay sites...100% difference in the type of men there...I find there are a few time wasters, but by far the men are more apt to want to speak sooner, meet sooner, very clear what they want and want to hear the same from you. I much prefer to use the one I'm on as a dating site and this as a friendly socialization site. | |

I use this site to browse the forums and if anyone getting chatting to me that's good, but I don't use POF as the mainstay of my social life. It is just a way to pass the time on the internet, staying logged in whilst I browse other sites of interest to me. | |
